Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
Very easy to make..at first I used the both the vanila wafer and also made my own crust. I though the wafer crust was not good at all and ended up throwing it out. I would definitely use another reviewers suggestion and use crushed graham crackers, butter and sugar for the crust.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
These were very good! I did freeze the peanut butter cups first and after putting them in the cookies i put the entire tray immediately in the refridgerator to avoid melting. Had to make a second batch since the first one was gone so quickly!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I thought these were just alright. You have to really love chocolate to love these. On the other hand...everyone asked for the recipe! I had to give it to at least 8 people! I am making these again for christmas!

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
This was okay but I probably will not make again. Personally, I prefer the the ham in the slow cooker. I would also like to use a recipe that uses brown sugar.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
I thought these were very easy to make...although very time consuming. I followed the recipe exactly but found it to be a little bit bland. I would rather save the time and buy the frozen ones. I am not sure what this recipe needs but the I think that the dough needs more flavor.

Italian Butter

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2008
This was good but a little spicy. When I think of Italian butter I do not expect spicy. I will definitely make again except next time leave out the crushed red pepper. I also made it ahead of time and stored it in the refrigerator and it kept very well!

Baby BLT

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
These were good although they are time consuming. I hollowed out the tomatoes and salted them and turned them upside down on a paper towel overnight to drain out the water. I also put the filling together the night before. The day of the party I just had to stuff the tomatoes. They were good and I received many compliments. Will probably make again!

Creamy Twice-Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
These were good. I just think I expected better from the ratings it got. The only changes I made were to coat the potato in olive oil and sea salt before baking. I also added the extra shredded cheese like others suggested. May make again.

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
I thought this was good. Does taste very similar to red lobster. I added onion powder and garlic powder to the batter. I also used the cheese crumbles so that the cheese was a little thicker. Will definitely make again.
