Peach Ice Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
We have made a similar recipe to this for years and years. It is without a doubt the best ice cream recipe there is. If you can't find fresh peaches buy the package of frozen peaches, thaw them out and puree them before adding to the ice cream - you'll never be able to tell the difference. Substitue strawberries, or any other fresh or frozen fruit - you will never use another recipe again.

Cucumber, Tomato, and Red Onion Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
We make a salad like this using tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, black olives and creamy caesar dressing. It is a delicious side dish with chicken. Or try it on a grilled cheeseburger instead of mayo, lettuce and tomato. It's great!

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
I used 2 jalapenos finely chopped instead of the serranos plus 2 cloves of garlic (I love garlic). Wonderful - like pico de gallo! Then I roughly mashed up an avocado and put about 3 tablespoons of this mixture in it and I got the most wonderful quacamole for our mexican meal for two. Great recipe!

Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
Foolproof! Perfect! I, too, was a little sceptical about the cooking method but it was great! The second time I fixed it I even pulled it out of the oven after the 3 hour wait time and wrapped it in foil and chilled in the fridge. The next day I took it out, let it warm to room temperature and put it back in a preheated oven until heated through. I was still perfect. Even my fussy mother-in-law loved it! Will definitely use again and again.

Pork Chops with Basil and Marsala

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
This is great! I followed the recipe exactly the first time and even my picky grandson loved it. I made it again for a dinner party and used sliced pork tenderloin in place of the pork chops and added 1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms the last 15 minutes. Everyone loved it! It is a family favorite. Thanks!
