Cream of Mushroom Soup I

OH MY GOD! I think I died and went to heaven! This is scrumptious...I had to see for myself after reading all the reviews. With so few ingredients, what an amazing flavor...I didn't have any sherry, but I have some marsala wine...I poured off a cup and put a few drops in, so to compare the flavors...definitely with the wine, but just a few drops...going back into the kitchen for another cup!

All I can say is WOW! what an easy recipe with little clean-up! I brought these to work without even trying them first, I had fresh strawberries in the fridge and also carmel sauce on hand, I did, half and half and can't tell you which one I liked better! I'm not sure if it will work but I'm going to try using my smaller muffin tins for more of a bite-sized treat! One things for sure, be generous when greasy the tins!

Butternut Squash Soup

With an overabundance of butternut squash, I decided to try this because it sounded different. I am so glad I did and even more so, glad I read the reviews first. I too also used 1/2 the amount of cream cheese and might use even less next time. I let everyone choose the amount of cayenne pepper they prefer. Next time I will try and leave it a bit chunky for some texture.

Rhubarb Bread I

I have made this many times and it is always outstanding...but seeing this is Nov. and I had no rhubarb, I was forced to think "out of the box" and I used granny smith apples instead...it worked wonderfully! I suppose this is how new recipes are invented!

~hiccup~ Ummmm, I'd give it 10 stars! Instead of water, we used crushed ice in our smoothie machine...Watch out...it does have a kick that sneaks up on you!

Pumpkin Roll I

Rhubarb Cake I

The first time I made this cake was 10 yrs ago, and being the type of cook I am, the spills wore out the writing, I'm so happy I found the exact recipe...it rocks! If KMBJAR had problems with it, maybe the oven should be checked...was it turned on? to 350?

Baked Soy Lemon Chops

I used low sodium soy sauce, still way too salty even though I checked out all the reviews...., I ended up mixing in brown sugar, to cut the salt and then horseradish to spice it up....I used fresh lemon juice and added some lemon zest but I still didn't taste the so-called 'freshness'...guess I'm not a salt freak.

Awesome marinade...I used low salt soy sauce and marinated chicken in a zip lock bag for only 6-8 hours and still was moist and flavorful.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

I made this for a hair salon's grand opening...all I can say is people came up asking me for the recipe and not about hairstyles, I think that says it all! The chips aren't that time consuming and are way better then any that come in a bag! If your going to make it, make it right!

Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Panic attack!!! I thought this was in my ~allrecipes recipe box~ and couldn't find my printed version but some how lucked out! I have made this recipe at least a dozen times and always is a hit no matter if it's a loaf, muffins, or mini muffins...still haven't tried the glaze because as soon as they come out of the oven, everyone has there hand out! Easy and Yummy!

Artichoke Chicken

Without any rating or review, I decided to try this because hubby is a big fan of chicken and artichokes. I don't eat artichokes, but thought I would try it. I thought it was a bit salty, so when I make this again, I think I would cut up the chicken into smaller pieces and maybe add some pasta and make it into a casserole. He left for work so he hasn't tried it yet...maybe I'm wrong.

What a *heavenly* treat for a Christmas gift, or for that matter anytime of the year. I made them a bit smaller, that way you can have a few extra without as much guilt!
