Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2013
Used store bought bite-sized Italian meatballs and followed the remainder of the recipe exactly. I brought it to church tonight and everyone raved! I will make this again and again!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2013
We followed other reviewer's suggestions to pour the glaze over the apples and top with a full crust. I did use Equal for sugar since there are diabetics in the family. I also added a couple shakes of apple pie spice. This pie was awesome! My father raved about how great it was - not too sweet but just right. It as so easy, I'll definitely do this again!

Tortellini Florentine Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
My daughter made this for us for supper tonight. When she told me it had three cans of broth with Alfredo Sauce, I thought... ewwww... But it was AWESOME!!! The only thing we didn't have was the tomatoes. I can imagine the addition of lots of other ingredients too, but it was perfect as it was!

Homemade Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2012
This was totally AWESOME! The sauce was creamy and rich...we just wanted more. I served it on spaghetti with butter and parsley, but would have used the extra sauce if we had it. The only thing I changed was to add a bit of Italian seasoning to the sauce itself and used seasoned bread crumbs (it was all I had). Otherwise, I followed the recipe exactly as written.

Hash Brown and Egg Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2011
I doubled this recipe, but only used one bag of the shredded hash browns. I also added diced garlic. This casserole was easy to make and tasted awesome!

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2009
This recipe was AWESOME! I blanched the asparagus to keep its color and then I mixed the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper together before I brushed it on the asparagus. Rather than mess with the grill, I put in the basket of my RONCO rotisserie for 7 minutes. It came out PERFECT! Thank you Larry for this recipe!

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
This pie is to die for! Creamy and tart with a hint of sour cream, it has a wonderful flavor! I was worried I wouldn't see the little bubbles forming on the top (the sign that it had baked long enough), but when I turned the oven light on, I could see them easily (they are tiny though). I will make this recipe again and again!

Different Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2007
I cooked only two chicken breasts and cut everything down into quarters. I seasoned the chicken breasts with Mrs. Dash garlic and herb seasoning and used chicken Stove Top stuffing on the top. This dish was AWESOME! I plan to use it for a senior luncheon that I am cooking for in the near future!
