Sourdough Bread I

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
I was dissappointed with the results of this bread...the bread baked up beautifully, but it has very little taste. I didn't have any problems with it rising (but it did take a LONG time to rise). I may try again with a little more mature starter and add more salt to the dough.

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
Wonderful! Next time, I will decrease the sugar by 1/4 cup and add 1 more banana to give it more "BANANA" flavor! Definitely a keeper!

Taco Seasoning III

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
We really didn't care for this - it still tasted floury even though I added it to the pan and cooked it for several minutes while the meat was draining. I'll keep looking for a great taco seasoning recipe.

Feather-Light Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
These biscuits were very good and easy to make, but they do make a sweet biscuit and would be wonderful with jam or butter! I will try making them again, but will try cutting the sugar down to 1 tbsp instead of 2.

Pumpkin Muffins II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2008
I made these tonight and the texture is perfect - just like you'd find at a coffee shop. Thanks for a great starter recipe. I tweaked the recipe a bit per other reviewers suggestions. I used 1 6oz container fat free vanilla yogurt and 1/3 cup oil, 1 whole egg + 2 egg whites, 3/4 cup white sugar and and 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 tsp salt, and 2 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice. Next time, I will increase salt to 1 tsp, increase the sugar by 1/4 cup, and use 3 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice.
