About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
The thing I love doing most in the kitchen is baking and decorating. I can spend hours making gingerbread houses or coming up with ideas how to decorate snacks and such.
My favorite family cooking traditions
BBQing with my dad in the summer, making christmas cookies with my mom and my sister in the winter, while singing along with Christmas songs. And cake-baking marathons with mom and gradma before every family birthday.
My cooking triumphs
I always have all kinds of foods left from cooking (single household...), so I'm a master at using up ingredients that are opened or just have to go =) Another thing that people really admired was a 3D cake of R2D2 from Star Wars. It was 1.5ft high and took an entire day to make and decorate.
My cooking tragedies
Whenever I try to make candy without a candy thermometer. This is how I have managed to fail at making marshmallows and popcorn balls.

Totally Tangy Baked French Fries
These were fantastic, my husband made me make more of them two more times that day!

Debbie's Ultimate Mushroom Dish
This was delicious! And very welcome, because I had to use up a whole bunch of olives and mushrooms =)

Cream Cheese Penguins
These are adorable and tasty! They're a hit whenever I make them, even though most people say they're too cute to eat =) I sometimes mix the cream cheese with a little salt and garlic powder, to give it more taste.
