Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2012
First off let me just say that I did modify the recipe. And not because it didn't look delicious! The dough part of Debbie's recipe is VERY yummy. Here is what I did different: I used a 9 x 13 pan, cut into 15 rolls, in the bottom of the pan I put melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, added walnuts before I rolled it, cooked for 25-30 minutes, after inverting to a cookie sheet I covered with a mixture of cream cheese, little milk and powered sugar mixture. I also let it rise in the pan for about an hour. Thank you Debbie for a wonderful easy cinnamon roll!

OH MY FABULOUS!!! I tried it before putting on the cupcakes. I had to make myself stop - it is sooooooo good! I did use 1/2 butter shortening and half real butter. Definitely will make this again and again.

Lost my stand by hot fudge recipe and love this one! When you put it in the fridge it thickens. I halved the recipe exactly and it came out great.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
Pretty darn good. :) I did add an egg did half butter and half butter flavor shortning, and omitted the nuts (allergy). It is kinda like shortbread with chocolate. I also used about 1.5 C . of mini chocolate chips, baked in a 9x13 for about 24 minutes at 350. Will make again- very easy.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2010
Perfect. I am not a big ham lover but after this I am a convert. After all the reviews this is what I did. I used a crock pot bag to seal all the goodness in. Same recipe but all nice and sealed up. Helped make it real juicy for all cuts of ham. Easy clean up as well. I drained pineapple and added it to the top as not to add any more juice. It makes enough in the crock pot all day.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2010
This bread was too big for my Kitchen Aid mixer so I took it out and hand kneeded it for about five minutes. I also used maple syrup for the first honey and sugar for the second. I also think that it only makes two loaves for the real size bread for sandwiches. Very good and I can't wait to make other things with it such as rolls and bread sticks. I didn't use the butter at the end but just sprayed with pam when it came out of the oven and it was wonderful.

French Bread Rolls to Die For

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
I read some of the other reviews and made some minor modifications. Changed the oven temp to 375 and cooked for 19 minutes, used olive oil instead of veg. oil and lightly misted the rolls with water every 5 minutes during cooking to make the crust a little crunchier. They were still only a slightly crunchy. I did use my Kitchen Aid to kneed the dough the first time for ease. I thought these were very good but would like a little bit more flavor. Next time I might add sea salt or some other herb to the top before cooking to just give them a little extra something. Thanks for the recipe Jo!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
Put it all in a small crock pot for two hours. Tasted just like a Jalapeno Popper. I too added the whole 4oz. can of jalapenos. It was not too hot for me but for some it might be. It went great with beer. Thanks for the recipe - I will make it again.

This was wonderful. Everyone that has had it asked for the recipe. I did mix the peanut butter and flour. The marshmallow I just added to the bowl of peanut butter and flour to pour into the saucepan. I also brought the butter, sugar and milk to 220 degrees.
