Chuck's Come On Ice Cream (or Night of the Red Death) Chili
My whole family loves this! Great combination of flavors. I do halve the cayenne because my daughter can't handle tons of heat. I added beans to it one time (I know...real chili doesn't have beans) and that was really good too. And of course, we always have ice cream for dessert! It IS part of the recipe.

Moroccan Lentil Soup
Really savory and delicious. Had it with some Middle Eastern Flatbread from Trader Joe's. Whole family loved it and we're not even vegetarian!

Venison Stew I
I married into a family of hunters. This recipe is the first one where I actually enjoyed the venison, not just tolerated it. I thought the 1 tablespoon salt would be way too much, but I went with it. It wasn't too much - just perfect. The only change I made was to replace one of the cups of water with red wine. I am making it for the second time tonight. Thanks for the great recipe.
