Pork Chop Skillet Meal

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
It was alright, but I found the rice didn't cook well. I'd rather make the meal in multiple pots to ensure it is all cooked properly than skip steps and risk quality.

Pear Scones

These turned out great! Even the kids had seconds. I substituted sour cream for the half and half and found the consistency before and after baking to be perfect. Yum! I'll be making these again.

I also used pecans instead of walnuts and threw in some blueberries and it was amazing. One of my friends had 3 servings!

Very rich and delicious. I threw in a layer of crushed candy canes and served it around Christmas time.

Very good! I may cut back a little on the sugar next time as they were very sweet.

White Chocolate-Candy Cane Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2007
Served it Christmas Eve and it was fantastic. I do recommend using the tiny candy canes to crush if you cannot by pre-crushed canes. The larger ones are tough to break.

Butternut Squash, Apple, Onion Au Gratin

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
My family said they liked it but I didn't love it. I followed the advice of others and used 1/2 the chicken stock and added more cinnamon. I think you could go with 2 tbls of cinnamon. I also threw in some more cheese. Just cause I love more cheese. Not sure if I'll try it again, although the advice of throwing in some chicken for a one dish meal sounds like a great idea.

Mushroom Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2007
Didn't love it. If I do it again, I will do more mushrooms and less onion. The chicken came out dry.

You could cut back on the amount of crushed candy canes if you are getting tired of the crushing. I used the tiny candy canes as they break easier.
