Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2006
We have an annual tradition of eating an appetizer dinner on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Last Christmas Eve I made another artichoke dip, didn't like it, so I tried this one on New Years Eve. My husband doesn't eat artichokes. Which was good, cause I wasn't sharing this dip with him...it was too good!!! I think I finishd it myself by the end of New Years Day! I've been looking fwd to this all year, already planning to make it Christmas Eve this year and can hardly wait!!!

Chocolate Toffee Crunchies

It doesn't get any easier than this! I love making candy for the holidays, and this recipe is my new favorite. I especially loved the vanilla wafer crust. I can't wait to share them with my coworkers!

Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2003
This was my first attempt at cobblers...and it was a success! It tasted just like the cobblers my grandma and aunt used to make! Easy, quick, I had all the ingredients at hand, and delicious!

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2003
Just like cookie dough! I served mine with vanilla wafers and it was great. I also froze it until ready to serve, and it held up considerably well even outside in 80 degree temperature.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2002
I made this for my son's Christening and everyone loved it! My father-in-law liked it so much that my mother-in-law asked for the recipe. People commented that the strawberry layer tasted like candy, I thought it tasted like fresh strawberry preserves. The whole dish was like a light fluffy cheesecake, and the pretzel crust was the best part.

Cheddar Biscuits

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2002
Great recipe - quick, easy, delicious, plus ingredients that I always have! My husband loved them - he especially liked the saltiness. Instead of the garlic salt and parsley I used McCormick California Style Garlic Salt, which has the parsley in it!

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2001
I needed to add quite a bit more milk than the recipe called for in order to get the icing to a spreadable consistency. My 2 1/2 year old nephew did not like the icing at all.

Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2001
I also used canned green beans and found the recipe to be a little runny. I don't think I completely drained the beans, but I also think next time I would use less milk. But other than that they were delicious!

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2001
With a few extra biscuits I was able to stretch the filling to 30 mini cups. I took them to a Christmas Eve party and everyone commented on how delicious they were. These cups make a nice presentation and give the impression you spent hours in the kitchen! Next time I will try using a little less basil, I think it overpowered the other flavors.

Hot Pepper Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2000
I've made this recipe quite a few times, and I've started adding about 3/4 of a can of chopped green chilis to the recipe. It adds a little bit of color and texture, and a little more 'kick' to the cheeseball!
