My apples didn't look like the picture, but they tasted so wonderful. My family really liked this, it was an easy Fall recipe. It has been added to my "staples" list!

Southern Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2007
My family and I love this recipe. it was super easy and tasted better than any BBQ we've gotten at a resturant. I am making it again this weekend for a family gathering. This recipe has earned a spot in the front of my cookbook. We used Emiril's Cajon spices and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce

Microwave Pralines

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2005
I tried this recipe twice, both times it did not turn out as I thought they would. The first time I used large chopped pieces of pecans, and the mixture turned hard before I got them all stirred in. The second time I finely chopped the pecans and stirred them in immediately, not giving the mixture any time to cool. These turned out better, but ended up being medium sized balls of brown sugar. They tasted fine, but not what I expected. I am going to try these again and follow some of the suggestions of the other comments

Coconut Buttons

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
I thought these looked good on the plate, and everyone ate them. They just arent' the cookie that gets requested. It makes a lot so it's a good "plate filler" when making cookies to give away to neighbors and friends. There good, but no one raved.

Hawaiian Fruit Crumble

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2003
My family loved this. I made it for Thanksgiving and served it in place of cranberry salad. Everyone raved, EVEN the teenagers. I will make this again, and it was sooo easy. The only thing I added, was a little butter on top

I made this for my Recipe Club and it was a huge hit. I had never tasted Chicken Cordon Bleu before, what a first taste to have!!! EXCELLANT! My friends said "Great for Company" The ONLY thing I did differently is I used a Reisling Wine which is sweet, instead of the dry wine (I had this on hand)I will make this TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!!

I made this for Super Bowl and everyone really liked it. I served it with tortilla chips, But everyone said it should have been served on Party Rye bread like "Hanky Pankys". Still a big hit.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2002
I really enjoyed this soup. I am going to make it for my recipe exchange club. It wasn't the consistancy I was expecting (thought it would be more mashed potato like) but it was wonderful. I took the advice of other reviews and used 2% milk instead of half and half. Next time I will split it. I think it could have been a little richer. WONDERFUL FLAVOR, was not bland at all!!!

Santa's Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2002
I found this to be a fairly easy recipe but a long process. They were kind of dense, I think I will make them again, but I will make the cookies much smaller. Most people I gave them to said they broke off the outer ring of cookie and only ate the center to deal with the dense-ness better.

I made these for Thanksgiving, I found them to be super easy. Using the bread machine cut a lot of time off of it too. My family really enjoyed them, but said I should make them smaller next time.
