About this Cook
I work in travel and it leaves me very little time cook and bake. I love baking and have trained with a chef for over 300 hours in cooking, but I don't enjoy cooking very much. My 3 year old Shih Tzu loves everything that I cook though... :)
My favorite things to cook
Again, I don't really like cooking... I find that everything that I make starts to taste the same. I'll have to use this website to spruce up my recipes more!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our only major cooking traditions are Christmas ones. We make huge turkey dinners and lots of delicious cookies.
My cooking triumphs
I make an awesome pie crust!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make a pie crust once out of organic, unbleached flour and it turned out horribly. I actually tried about three times with the same flour on the same day with the same recipe and it didn't work. I'll never try to make healthy pie again...

Moroccan Lentil Salad
This is an extremely flavourful recipe! I made it without realizing I didn't have garbanzo beans on hand. I also left out the chilis and used only one type of pepper as well as a normal onion opposed to a green one... and I love it. Delicious!

Pumpkin Cake III
Great recipe! I followed it to a T with the exception of icing it. It was so moist and flavourful that it seemed like it wasn't needed.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies were great. A little on the dry side when rolling into balls but very moist when cooked. I over cooked my first batch, my oven is a little on the hotter side. So, watch the timing.
