Daddy's Whisker Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
Yum! This was an awesome recipe. I didn't vary from the recipe except that I did add the extra cheese like Junebug said in another rating. It was so creamy and delicious. And it was super easy also. I would definately make this again.

Balsamic Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I hate cooked carrots, but these carrots are absolutely wonderful. I can eat them all the time. They are super sweet and tangy. I will definately make these over and over and over again.

Poppy Seed Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
This is a super easy recipe for chicken that I have been eating for a few years. It is easy and is a somewhat different take on your ordinary chicken because of the poppy seeds. Don't skimp on them! I serve it over egg noodles and its delicious, even leftover (if we ever have any).

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I made this recipe using the exact same ingredients except I didn't cook my noodles but instead soaked them in hot tap water while i was preparing the meal. I also didn't cook the sauce but kept it overnight in the fridge as suggested by others. My husband loved it but I wasn't all that impressed for the amount of work and ingredients involved. It was good, but probably not the best I have ever had.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
This was really really good and super easy. I added about half a bag of frozen broccoli florettes to add some veggies to the meal. Served over brown rice, this was a hit!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
I didn't jelly roll my meat loaf. Instead, I layered it with ground beef mixture, cheese, ground beef, cheese, then topped with last layer of ground beef. This was easy and excellent

Potato Pancakes II

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Wonderful! I did have to add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of flour to thicken the mashed potatoes up because my first batch was too runny and I had to throw it out. I added Velveeta cheese because I didn't have any cheddar. Then I topped it off with sour cream. It was excellent!

No-Peek Beef Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Very good and easy. Just open up a few cans and pour in the slow cooker. Can't get any easier. And the good thing about this recipe is you can add ingredients to suit your tastes.

Green Bean Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
So bland! And I even used the garlic and herb cream of mushroom soup. I don't think I will ever make green bean casserole again.

Deviled Eggs I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Very basic easy recipe. Tasted bland though. Next time, I will add more seasonings to the egg mixture. Also, I put the egg mixture in a baggie and cut the tip off and squirted it into the shells. So easy!

Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Came out very thin and flat in the 9x13 dish but was delicious. This was my first time to make dressing and I would use this recipe again. My husband thought it was great!

Yellow Squash Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
What a delicious alternative to regular squash casserole. I didn't steam mine but rather boiled the squash with the onion until tender then drained off the excess liquid. I did not find this dressing too dry or too moist and found the flavor perfect.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2008
I do not like my white potatoes sweet. My husband liked them though. I would not make these again. You do have to add more butter and honey to evenly coat the potatoes also

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
Easy to make. Didn't taste like the pumpkin pancakes from IHOP last fall, not as sweet, but ok. Probably wouldn't make again because the pumpkin flavor was so subtle I don't think it was worth the extra ingredients.

St. Patrick's Day Zucchini-Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2008
Give this one 3 stars because mine didn't turn out "green" really but they were good chocolate chip cookies. The zucchini added a little extra nutrition and moisture to the cookies

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Really good and easy. I made sure that I squeezed the liquid from the zucchini before i did anything else to it. They held up well and tasted almost like the real thing!

Crispy Barbequed Tofu Slices

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Very good and easy. Dredge the tofu first in the eggs, then in the flour/salt/pepper mix. Don't be afraid to brown this. The more it gets brown, the more it gets crispier.

Cuban Black Beans II

Lacked flavor. This was not the recipe for black beans I was hoping for. It was very watery and bland. I won't be using this recipe again.
