Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
This cake was easy to make. I could not find the cake w/pudding at the store so I used a regular yellow cake mix. Other than that I followed the recipe for the cake and icing exactly as the recipe stated. The cake batter was very thick, I saw that some people added water to the recipe. I did not, but next time I might add some. I must say it was a hit! Alot of people asked for the recipe.

Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
Delicious marinade! My family loved it. I marinated it overnight in a ziploc bag and actually made it on my gas stovetop on a nonstick grill pan! Followed the directions otherwise and it was perfecto!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Simple yet delicious! I purchased a bag of granny smiths that were a bit too tart and so I used them to make this apple crisp. I actually only used 1/2 cup of white sugar and 3/4 cup brown sugar and it was still plenty sweet for my family. I also used 4 tablespoons of butter instead of 1/2 cup and just sprayed the top with butter flavor Pam to save fat/calories. Yum, Yum, Yum!

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Wow! This is so easy and delicious to make. With only one oven to make a large turkey it definitely makes things much easier on the cook! Delicious and moist! Will make again next Thanksgiving!

Very tasty. Good for the meat lovers in your family. A bit on the salty side. It is definitely a rich dish.

Famous Chicken Adobo

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Delicious! Close to my dad's recipe who is Filipino. We add the juice of 1/2 lemon, sometimes pork on the bone, or some firm chopped up bean curd (tofu). You can also use apple cider vinegar in place of white. Savory and soothing over fresh cooked white rice. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing.

Simple Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Great recipe. I used the leanest ground turkey, added some chopped red bell pepper, fresh cilantro, and garnished with shredded lowfat cheeses, fresh chopped jalapeno pepper, green onion, lowfat sour cream and few tortilla strips. Better on second day. Next time I will use less water my family likes our chili thicker. Great recipe though. So much better than buying the packet of seasoning. Will make this again!

Simply Potatoes® Easy Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2014
I thought this recipe was okay. My kids and my husband really like it though. I used extra lean ground beef to cut down on the fat but I think it also maybe made it less flavorful. It was definitely easy to throw together.

Haroset for Passover

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2014
Delicious! Thank you for this recipe. Took the recipe up to 8 servings so I could use the whole bag of walnuts (exactly 1 1/3 cups), but only used 6 med/large apples. Added an extra squeeze of honey, an extra sprinkle cinnamon and a few more dashes of wine than called for... (Manischevitz). I will be using this recipe every year for Passover!
