Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
This recipe was AMAZING as is! The easiest chicken I have ever made, super moist, lots of flavor and done in half an hour! The only change I made was to use butter instead of olive oil, as another user suggested, and it really brought out the wonderful garlic flavor. I didn't use any measurements for this recipe...I took all of the ingredients and kind of threw them in at my own discretion...worked out perfectly!

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2011
Loved it!! Made the recipe exactly as stated, except I left out the ginger because it's not a favorite in my family. This meal was easy, quick, and tasted great! The only thing I noticed is that the recipe only calls for four ounces of chicken, which I think is a little light, so I used a pound and a half instead. Otherwise, everything came out just right. :-)

Home-Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
My family really enjoyed this recipe! We made a few changes, in deference to what we had on hand at the time...instead of onion soup mix, we used a dry ranch packet. Much different in flavor, but made really good, savory potatoes!! Will definitely make this recipe again, and next time I'll try it with the onion soup mix. Thanks for a great submission!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
Great GREAT recipe!!! I ran out of pancake mix, and needed a recipe in a pinch, and I'm so glad I came across this one! The pancakes are so fluffy, and the flavor is amazing. I wouldn't recommend any changes to this recipe, besides adding ingredients such as berries and chocolate chips for specialty pancakes. Definitely recommend!

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2010
This recipe was awesome!!! I nixed the sour cream sauce because my father-in-law is picky picky, but the recipe for the beef was worth the entire thing!!!! I left my chuck roast in the beef broth mixture in a crockpot for about 7 hours on low, and it came out perfectly tender and shreddable. My corn tortillas didn't want to roll (they actually wanted to break) so I ended up doing a casserole-style dish, that tasted wonderful. I have leftover beef, which I think would work perfectly for a homemade taco salad, or some such. This will definitely be a family favorite!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
I give this recipe five stars!!! Very creamy and rich-tasting. I did take the advice of some of the other reviewers, and also added my own modifications. I mixed the sauce in with the vegetables and chicken, and poured the whole thing into the pie tins. My family loves vegetables, so I also added potatoes, broccoli, and asparagus tips (trust me, it's great!!!) in with the other veggies. Keep in mind, this does greatly increase the amount of food going into the pies, so it's important to use deep dish pie pans, and double the sauce also. Great recipe!

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
This recipe was quite flavorful and easy to make, especially for a non-griller like me! I took the advice of some of the other reviews, and broiled the ribs for about five minutes to get the glaze to really stick. I used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ, and my whole family loved it. Great recipe!

Chicken Salad Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
Love, love, LOVE this recipe! I was a little wary, I have to admit, about using pimento olives because my family is definitely not a fan, but it added a really nice kick to the flavor. This has definitely become a family favorite. I recommend the recipe as is!!

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
Like many of the other reviewers, I used this recipe as a base, and added some items of my own....minced garlic, chopped onion, Worcestershire, and parmesan cheese. I also used mozzarella balls in the center of the meatballs, and they came out very gooey and yummy! Great recipe.

Almond-Crusted Tilapia

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
SUCH an amazing recipe! Great flavor, easy to make. I pretty much followed the recipe to the letter, but I substituted garlic pepper with fresh, minced garlic, and nixed the lemon pepper since I didn't have any on hand. My husband, the picky one, loved it! Thanks for a great recipe!

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
My family is quite skeptical about tuna casseroles, but this one put their fears to rest. The combination of the soups and cheese made a lovely casserole that didn't have that overwhelming tuna flavor that so often comes with a tuna casserole. Make the recipe just as is...it works!

Incredibly Cheesy Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
This recipe was amazing! I was a little bit skeptical about leaving the cheese in cubes, but I tried it and it worked out perfectly! I recommend this method, because it really allows the flavors of the cheese to meld together into the meatloaf. However, do be aware that by only cubing the cheese a large portion of the liquid rises to the top during cooking, so about half way through, I pulled out the meatloaf and soaked the grease off of the top. When it came out if was perfectly moist! Really recommend this!

Chicken Enchilada Casserole I

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
This recipe was an incredible hit with my entire family, even the picky ones! Some of the other reviewers noted it was dry, but I found it to be extremely moist and flavorful. I did take the advice of some other reviewers and substituted real cheese for the processed cheese, and it turned out beautifully! I also shredded the chicken instead of cubing it, and it spread evenly throughout the casserole. Great recipe, will definitely make again!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
Very good recipe! The breading is very simple, yet the final product is satisfying and just sweet enough. The only thing that I did differently was doubling the breading recipe, because I found that it wasn't quite enough breading for my family. Otherwise, excellent!

Egg Salad Sandwiches

I've tried quite a few different kinds of egg salad and this is my absolute favorite! The dill adds a really nice flavor to the mix, and the mustard powder rather than mustard makes it not quite so juicy. Five stars!

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2007
My family has asked for this salad over and over! They just can't seem to get enough of it! It's a really inexpensive salad to make...I just used sesame seeds instead of sesame and poppy seeds to cut down the cost. This salad is a winner!
