Absolutely the best I've ever eaten! Even my 74 year old southern Dad, thinks it is the best he has ever eaten. And he loooovvves him some banana pudding.

Souvlaki

Absolutely delicious!!! I had to use cut up pork chops due to the cost of tenderloin, but it was still fabulous and extremely tender and flavorfull.

Fluffy Pancakes

Great recipe, although I found the batter a bit thick. I added a smidge more milk and they were fabulous!

Chicken Fajita Marinade

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
It's a good base recipe, but I thought it lacked in fajita flavor and was a little too sweet. So I added one tablespoon of liquid smoke, which made it perfect!

Vegetable Lo Mein

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
It was very good; although not stupendous. I'm still looking for that lovely smokey flavor like a restaurant lo mein. This dish was very tasty though, although I did add pork and sherry.

Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2010
Fabulous!!! I added a touch of italian seasoning, onion, and garlic powder for added flavor. It was great. The dough cooked evenly into a crust, even throughout a large pizza. We also used a pizza pan, because we don't have a stone.

Stuffed Baked Sweet Potatoes with Pecans

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
Tasty, but I wasn't real big on the consistency of the casserole or the cheese topping. Flavor was very nice though.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
Loved it!!!! Kid Friendly Changes Include: 1/2 tbl Rooster Hot Sauce, 2 tbl brown sugar, dredge the chicken first, and don't simmer sauce first. (It's unnecessary.) Fry chicken in a nice hot pan and add sauce as soon as it is browned. Turn it to low a simmer briefly for a gorgeous thick 'sauce'. We LOVE it! Kids and all.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
Best corn bread I have EVER made! I also used a heated cast iron skillet with oil in the bottom and cooked it in a convection oven for 18 minutes. It was perfect! We absolutely loved this wonderful recipe.

Stupendous!!! We have made this repeatedly and ALWAYS end up over eating, because you just can't stop eating. We do add extra bacon....mmmm bacon.

New Year's Day Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
Great flavor, but our FRESH peas were tough. Not sure why, but we also added diced and seeded jalapeno for extra flavor.

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
The rolls are absolutely gorgeous! They're delicate, light and tender with a lovely bite to them. Great stuff and very forgiving. I had to leave them in the bread machine too long and despite their abandonment, they were cut up and left to finish rising in the pan before baking. They were still obviously wonderful.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
Serious yummers! This is now my families second favorite cookie and THAT is some seriously high praise! I didn't have butter and used all butter flavor crisco... they were still absolutely delicious! If you bake two pans at a time, you may need to add a couple minutes bake time.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
Wonderful!!! This recipe was excellent and SOOO easy. They turned out perfect and just like the real thing. If you get your oil hot enough, you should have no problem with them being at all greasy. Ours might as well have been baked! They were delicious.

Italian Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2008
While I love chocolate and hazelnuts, I found this cookie to have a certain unpleasant bitterness. It was too dense and not chocolatey enough for my American tastes.

Orzo with Chicken and Artichokes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2007
I got to say that I really didn't like this one, which suprised me. I ended up fixing it with added garlic powder, parmesian cheese, and basil. Also, I would save the cooked pancetta to sprinkle on in the end.
