Zucchini Bread II

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
I am not a big baker but had farm fresh zucchini and wanted to make some bread. I came across this recipe and it sounded easy and delicious! I used the diced apple in place of raisins as one reviewer did and it turned out so moist and delicious. I love the brown sugar also and the nutmeg just gave it a great hint of goodness! Will be making this alot, Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Biscuits for Two

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
I tried these today and have to say was a little dissappointed. They did not rise at all, but actually had a good taste. I added 1/4 tsp. sugar to this recipe which I think made the taste better. I think next time maybe I will use a little more baking powder and as another reviewer stated add about 1/8 tsp. baking soda. We'll see.

Cherry Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2008
I read all reviews b4 making this dish and decided that just the cherry pie filling was not enough to keep them from sticking to the crock pot badly so I added a can of crushed pineapple to it. I also added some of my favorite spices, (basil, garlic granules, marjoram and cayenne pepper. These actually came out very, very tender and juicy. I cooked them on low for 4-5 hours and 4 would have been just enough. I will be using this one frequently as it is quick, easy and tasty! Thanks for another great recipe!

Easy Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
I made this for my family last night and WOW! I did add a couple tsp of soy sauce and a couple tsp of worchestershire sauce as some others had said just to knock down a little of the sweetness. I think this is the juciest pork loin I have ever cooked. Not sure if it was because of the bag or just the recipe, but my whole family loved it! I will be making this one again! Thanks for a great pork recipe!

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
I made this today with a few alterations. I added frozen(thawed)peas, fresh garden grape tomatoes(halved), sweet relish and honey mustard along with the regular mustard. I also used yellow, green and red peppers as this is what I had on hand and used fresh green onions with the greens instead of regular onion. I also left out the pimentos. I did use grated carrots and Miracle whip for the dressing and also the vinegar and sugar. I thought it was spectacular and I usually do not like Macaroni Salad. Thanks for this one I will be making again!

Easy Peach Crisp I

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2007
I made this tonight and did it exactly like the recipe called for. I then read the reviews and thought maybe I messed up. My hubby loved it, actually my kids and I also loved it. It did take about an hour to get done, but completely worth the wait. I may next time add some nutmeg like some other reviewers did, but would not change anything else except the cook time. Thanks and I for sure will be making this one again.

I made these tonight and they were a big hit! I did some alterations, however, I did use the cheese, but I also added 3 tblsp. flour and some fresh snipped chives. I also added a teaspoon of garlic powder and a teaspoon of hot sauce and salt and pepper. My family loved them. I will be making this one again! A great way to use leftover mashed potatoes!

Traditional Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
I made this tonight and it was a rave! I actually made a couple changes, I used cracker crumbs in place of bread crumbs and a bouillon cube as I did not have granules. I also cooked it for over an hour in the gravy and my family loved it. They asked when I was going to make it again! Thanks!

Molly's Chicken

Reviewed: May 1, 2007
I made this tonight and made a few changes. I used honey and molasses to counter the tartness of the tomato sauce. Also, I added 1/4 tsp. ginger and 1/4 tsp. allspice. I cooked on high for 2 hours and turned to low for 2 more hours and it fell off the bone. Very good!

Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Best Peach Cobbler Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
I made this tonight because I had leftover peaches that did not get eaten. I followed the recipe exactly and did use all the peach juice and left in oven for one hour. I admit when I took it out, I thought it was going to be too runny. However, from the other reviews, I did let it sit for an hour and it did set up very well and it was delicious! My husband loved it. The only thing I could imagine this needed was more peaches (without any more liquid). I will be making this one again!

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2007
This was very tender and moist. I actually did not have red wine so substituted red wine vinegar and some honey and brown sugar and molasses to even out the bitterness of the vinegar. I cooked it for 4 hours on low in the slow cooker and it was delicious! I will be making this one again.

This was pretty good. I did make a few alterations also. I cooked the macaroni first and then added the ham, used cream of celery soup instead of chicken, added garlic powder, cayenne pepper and 1/2 cheddar and 1/2 hot pepper cheese. Not bad will use again!
