Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
Batter very sticky. Added 4 heaping tablespoons of flour to batter. Refrigerated ~3 hours and it was easy to handle after that. Cookies came out great!

Lemonade Icebox Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
I made this for Father's Day as dessert. I used lower fat creamcheese and low fat cool whip and regular sweet and condensed milk. Used some regular coolwhip in the spray can to decorate the pie. I had enough filling for 2 pies. The filling didnt get as firm as I had hoped, but it could have been the humidity. Will make again possible w/ limeade, I think it will be like a KeyLime Pie :)

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I doubled the recipe. It was wonderful, everyone, even my picky brother thought it was good (he avoided the mushrooms though). I seasoned the chicken w/ some garlic ahead of time, but that was the only change I made. I served it w/ rice pilaf.

Ambrosia Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
I have to agree w/ another reviewer who was upset at how the directions were written. The ingredients should be listed in the order they are called for in the recipe. Someone at allrecipes.com should really fix this. Despite the directions, the cookies themselves are fantastic. The only change I had to make was to bake the cookies for about 15 min @ 350. If I baked them according to the directions, they would have been undercooked. I got almost 5 dozen cookies from this recipe, Im not sure how they figured 36 cookies unless you make them huge.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This recipe is yummy and easy. A couple small changes, I seasoned my chicken w/ salt and garlic ahead of time. I mixed italian seasoning in w/ the breadcrumbs along w/ the parm cheese. I used I cant beleive it's not butter instead of regular butter. I baked them 17 minutes on one side then turned and baked for 3 more minutes. I didnt grease the cook sheet and it was fine. I served them w/ honey mustard for dipping and then maashed potatoes and corn as sides.

Campbell's® Slow Cooker Savory Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2009
This was really good and really easy to make. The one fault I had with it (and it was my own) was I added some water to thin the soup.. and it was just too much. Oops! I think next time I will stick to a 1:1 ratio of soup to water. But other then that excellent! I used Campbell's cream of mushroom w/ roasted garlic as the soup! No left overs. And this is the first pot roast I have ever made!!

Jam-filled Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
These are very yummy. I got 5 giant muffins from the recipe. I used stawberry jelly not jam, since that was what I had on hand. I did not use lemon rind, since I didnt have any of that either. But regardless this was delicious, and extra yummy while warm.

Ranch Ham Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
I thought this recipe is okay. I made it per the directions, except I added orange american cheese to my roll. I thought the ranch flavor was too over-powering. I served them at my housewarming party, and had a lot of leftovers that ended up in the garbage. Oh well, can't win them all.

Tender Italian Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I just made this and it was delicious!! I just eye balled the measurements, I didnt want to dirty more things then necessary. I did use italian season in the mayo mixture as well as italian bread crumbs. I baked on a rack, 15 min on one side, then flipped it over, cooked another 5 minutes, then broiled on hi for about 3-4 minutes to get the coating a little crispy. There were no left-overs. Will definetly be making this more often. I served it with garlic bread. Yummy combo!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

This recipe is good, my family liked it. I guess I was hoping for something a little more spectacular. My chicken didnt get crispy (I used drumsticks). I am not sure if I will make again.

Easy Dump Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
I LOVED this cake. Everyone I made try it loved it. I made a couple of modifications. I only used one small box of chocolate pudding (because thats all I had) and I only used 1/3 a cup of sugar (next time I dont think I will that sugar are all since this cake is pretty sweet.) I made it on a Thursday and it was still very moist on Monday. Even someone who doesnt like chocolate cake, said this cake was great! I didnt frost it, this cake can completely stand alone.

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I'm giving this 5 stars because this recipe is a good base, but needs a few modifications. First, 2 eggs is not enough, i made it with 2 eggs, next time I will probably use like 5. Also, I think less butter...maybe 1/4 cup not a 1/3. I substituted bulk sausage for the ham as a personal preference, but i think any meat would be great in this. I actually made it in the morning, then brought it to a brunch and warmed it in an oven on a low temp and it was great!!

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
This recipe is great! My cookies came out beautiful. I got almost 6 dozen from a single batch, maybe I made mine small? Regardless, I baked mine 10 minutes and they were a tiny bit crisp and nice and chewy. I only refrigerated for 1.5 hrs because I am impatient and the dough was very easy to work with! I will definetly be making these again.

Basic Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
I used this frosting on my mom's b-day cake. I made a red velvet cake. This frosting was great with it. There was enough to frost a 2 layer 9"inch round cake. I didnt decorate with this frosting, but it was a great consistency for it, maybe next time!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2008
These cookies were good and easy to make. I was a little nervous when I made the dough since it was so sticky, but after refrigerating overnight, it was workable. I made a couple changes to the recipe, I used 8oz of creamcheese, since I didnt want any left over and I used 2 1/2 cups of flour. As another reviewer suggested I rollded the dough into balls and then pressed down with the bottom of a glass. I sprinkled the cookies with colored sugar before baking, I only baked for 8 minutes.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I loved this bread! Be warned it does make a lot, I made 4 mini loaves and 2 smallish regular sized loaves. Everyone loved it. I served it with whipped creamcheese. I added extra of the spices as a personal preference. I cant wait to make it again.
