Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches
i've never heard of an italian beef sandwich before, but i had a rump roast and didn't know what i wanted to do with it. i'm a stay-at-home mom right now and i cook A LOT, but my fiance actually said that this was probably his favorite thing i've ever made. these really were delicious. i used a 2.5lb roast and it took about 7 hours in the slow cooker. the only thing i did differently was add 3 beef bouillion cubes to the sauce and used provolone cheese. i did drain the meat, but we used the sauce as an au jus for dipping. thank you so much for this recipe!

Spinach Alfredo Pizza
My entire family thought this pizza was delicious. The only things I did different was use the entire 16oz. jar of the Clasico three cheese alfredo (the recipe suggests 10oz) because it just did not seem like enough sauce with the 10oz. of spinach mixed in. Also, as other reviewers did, skipped the artichokes and substituted chicken (I cut up three medium-sized chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces) and mixed it with some sauteed minced garlic. I used the Pillsbury dough and it took much longer than 20 minutes (more like 30-35 and the toppings almost started to burn), so I probably wouldn't recommend using that. The recipe itself - WONDERFUL!

Bacon Wrapped Smokies
Very simple and delicious appetizer! Personally, I thought it sounded like entirely too much meat, but it's really not at all. The flavors blend together so well. I threw the smokies in a ziplock back with a bunch of brown sugar, then also sprinkled some on top as the recipe suggests. Placed in a slow cooker & forgot to add the maple syrup as another reviewer suggested, and still were very moist. They were the first thing gone at my daughter's first birthday. OH - and MAKE SURE you use a layer or two of aluminum foil on your pan - MUCH easier cleanup.
