I have been cooking since I was 4 years old. Both my grandmothers and mother were "canning cooks" and I learned how to can foods from green tomatoes to Deer meat (venison) in their kitchens. I have been a practice baker since I was 20, I still have a hard time with cookies, but I have perfected pies and cakes.
