surprisingly flavorful and very good! the pastry was really flaky and everyone said "they just melt in your mouth." however i can't help but wonder if the full cup of butter is necessary... next time i might try less butter. but they were really really good! give it a try!

A to Z Everything-but-the-Kitchen-Sink Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made this quite a bit different. First, I didn't have any corn flakes or regular cereal, but I did have Uncle Sam Cereal - so I substituted that. It tastes good but the flax seeds are powerful - if you're not a fan of them I wouldn't recommend that substitution. I also used 1 cup whole wheat flour instead of all regular flour. I used egg whites instead of full eggs. Finally I used a combination of chocolate, butterscotch, and white chocolate chips to make up the 2 cups of chips. That part was my favorite about these cookies - every bite tasted a bit different. Yummy!

Good recipe! I wasn't sure how flavorful it would be so I also served it with chicken gravy and sides. Yummy and easy!

Spinach Bacon Quiche

My first quiche as well, but I used a pie crust from scratch and it was delicious. It wasn't watery or runny at all - make sure you cook it long enough and check to see the consistency with a knife, as the recipe says. My guests were impressed!

YUM YUM YUM can't rave enough about this recipe! Everyone I've made it for loves it, and it is so easy I almost felt guilty because they thought it took a lot more work than it did!

Chicken Enchiladas IV

This was a good dish, but I would agree with other reviews on being creative with the sauce you use. The salsa left it a bit dry. Also I added about an additional cup of cheese over the top of the enchiladas. The filling was great though! Lots of compliments!

Very good recipe - if you're wondering if you should use the bacon or not, I would recommend you do. The flavor wasn't overpowering, but it is important to make this dish flavorful and smoky.

Luscious Turkey Bacon Refried Beans

I needed to use up some bacon I had around so I used regular bacon instead of turkey bacon, but the recipe was DELICIOUS! The flavors in the beans were great. I made it as a side dish for enchiladas and spanish rice and it was a perfect complement.
