the trick is DON'T PRE-COOK the sausage! Roll the raw sausage (sage is great) on the crescent roll - or Grands biscuits (less greasy!) and then bake.

Brie and Walnut Tartlets

5 stars with a bit of tweaking. Instead of the puff pastry, try pre-made phyllo cups - so much EASIER! Also, add half a red grape on top AFTER cooking for a pretty presentation. The fruit brings out all the flavors, too.

Portobello Sandwiches

Try replacing the mayo with goat cheese - unbelievable! You can also add a sliced vidalia and a whole red pepper to broil with the portabello - make sure to peel your red pepper after. I use potato rolls. Very addictive.

Peanut Butter Noodles

Love it! So easy. Had to cut the peanut butter in half for my husband. I add chicken, half a bag of broccoli slaw, and a few green onions for a beautiful and yummy main course.

Honey Bun Cake I

great coffee cake! Used bundt pan and made repeated layers of batter and cinnamon sugar. 4 eggs tastes eggy out of the oven, but was perfect the next day. Will make this for Christmas morning as it gets better the next day.

Southern Grits Casserole

For an easy potluck brunch dish, this is a winner. Got rave reviews and no leftovers! The key is to salt the boiling water before adding the grits. Once grits are cooked, you have to add tons of salt to get any flavor. Also, I accidently overscrambled the eggs, but adding a touch of milk to the casserole seemed to correct the problem
