Award Winning Chili

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp and Basil

Was Delicious, my hubby went head over heals for it. I didn't use all of the recommended amount of tomatos though. I only used one can and that seemed more than enough. Thanks for the recipe Pat!

I made this dish looking for an alternative to the Store bought box stuff. I was so happy with it too!! Talk about delicious. The only down side is all the shredding but if you have a food processor it goes by like a breeze. This recipe is a definate keeper. Thanks Kimberly for submitting it :)

Quick Fried Rice

I wasn't too impressed with this dish. It just didn't have enough flavor for me. I think next time I'll use less veggies and a little more bacon and soy. Maybe that'll help.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Sorry to say I wasn't too fond of this recipe. The title "Cabbage Roll Casserole" is the problem because this dish tastes nothing like Cabbage Rolls. Too mushy.

Blueberry Walnut Bread

My bread came out without any problems. My machine doesn't have a CAKE setting so I just used the Batter setting instead. At first I was a bit worried that there weren't going to be any blueberries left after the kneeding paddle got through with the dough but despite the blue color of the dough there were plenty of blueberries still intact. Yummy bread. Great with coffee on a cold winters night.

Slow Cooker Carrot Chicken

This recipe should've been listed under "Soups". There was so much juice in this dish it would've been wasteful to make it all into gravey. The Cabbage and Carrots came out better than the chicken did. I'm sad to say that I was a little disappointed, but in the end this recipe really does make a good soup (and I'm not trying to be sarcastic).

Bacon Chicken II

Overall, the sauce came out tasty. The only problem with this recipe is that it calls for A LOT of bacon (3/4 of which you can't eat because the recipe states to only serve the top layer of bacon). I'm not sure I'll use this recipe again it seems a bit wasteful on the bacon.

Bread Machine Rolls

SOOOOOOOOOO Good!!!! This recipe out-puts the BEST rolls I've ever tasted. My husband fell in love with them on the first bite. Tomorrow we're having dinner guests over and guess what I'm serving with our meal..........YUMMY!

Bacon Mushroom Chicken

If your in the mood for a mouth watering, melt-in-your-mouth type of dish then this is the one for you. I personally LOVED this recipe and my husband...Well, let's just say he's not a big mushroom fan. He cleaned his plate and asked for seconds. In other words, it's a great recipe even if your not too fond of mushrooms. I did alter the recipe a bit. I browned the bacon a bit before placing them on the chicken breasts and I added the bacon drippings to the melted butter for added flavor. Overall, this dish came out wonderfully.

Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread II

I was a little worried during the kneading cycle with this bread. The Dough wasn't forming a ball the way it usually does. I considered adding more flour but decided to wait and see how the recipe turned out. While this bread is very tasty (especially the day after it's made)I was a bit disappointed that it failed to rise. However, I will make this bread again because it is quite yummy. Most of all, my 1 year old son loves it drizzled with honey on top.
