Chocolate Macaroons I

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
Excellent recipe! I reduced the recipe to make 12 macaroons instead of the original 36. Easy! Easy! Easy! I was a bit concerned because after 10 mins they were still gooey and seemed uncooked so i turned off the oven and let them sit another 2-3 minutes. I then transfered them to the fridge. They harden a bit which is good so they dont fall apart. Delicious! Much more chocolatey than coconuty...the coconut is really more for consistency. thanks for the recipe! They should be a hit at my seder tomorrow

American Girl's Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
Half of my family loved it and the other half didnt like it at all. I dont think you can call this a cobbler, its more of a peach pudding. the consistency is jelly-like but the flavours are yummy.

Red Wine Flavored Beef

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly except I put the whole packet of onion soup mix. I cooked it on low for 8 hours in the slow cooker. It was super moist, but my family and I didnt love the flavour. It was definitely edible, just not something i'd make again.

Caesar Salad I

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
Although this wasnt exactly a Caesar salad in my opinion, it is yummy anyways. I omitted the anchovies, and I added some sugar to the dressing because I found the taste too tart! But my whole family loved it! I added garlic restaurant style croutons and parmesan cheese.

I've been making this for a while and its always good. Here's a tip: roll the balls in white sugar and then pop them in the oven. I also usually use chocolate kisses in the center.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
I have made this recipe so many times! It's amazing. Just one question for anyone out there: how do I avoid it being too watery? When I serve it, it always falls apart. It tastes great but the presentation is not good because of this. Any ideas would be wonderful!
