Ooey-Gooey Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I have tried a few other highly rated cinnamon bun recipes from this site but none have come close to this one!! With other recipes I found the bun was too dry and didn't have that soft chewiness I was looking for. I did increase the amount of caramel to put in the pan. After taking out of the oven, I tossed them into a larger sheet pan and turned them in the caramel to ensure they were all coated evenly. Great recipe!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
There is absolutely no reason to change anything in this recipe. I followed it exactly and ended up with the perfect soft(great for dipping in milk)-not chewy cookie!

Perogies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
I am only reviewing the dough from this recipe. It was not to my liking. Rolled out fine, had good elasticity but was not fork tender after cooking. You should feel no resistance when trying to slice the pierogy. This dough is nothing like real pierogy dough.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
Good base recipe, I changed it to my personal liking. Always add a tbsp of lemon juice. I use only 3 eggs and 3 packages of cream cheese. The flour isn't necessary. Also I use heavy cream in place of milk, adds a nice richness and creaminess to the cake.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Very nice moisture to this bread. My 4 year old loved it! Next time I will substitute the zucchini for carrot~ adding some nutmeg also. What a versatile recipe! Thanks a bunch :)

Melt - In - Your - Mouth Shortbread

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2009
These are fabulous! I did turn the heat down a bit because I was using a non-stick pan. Next time I will add maybe 2 more tablespoons of confectioners sugar- I personally like them sweeter. Thanks for the yummy recipe :)

A-Number-1 Banana Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This is so moist. No mistaking it for banana bread! I actually didn't have buttermilk. I used regular 1% milk and it was just fine.

This bread never fails, This is by far the best recipe I have ever had for bread--I once forgot to add the oil and salt and it still turned out great!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2009
This was my first attempt at cinnamon buns and they were easy and tasty! I found them to be slightly dryer than I like, this could have been my own fault? I made a simple icing to pour ontop--Thanks for the recipe!

These were more like a sweetened biscuit. Not what I was expecting. They are not flaky at all.

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I make a similar Sweet and sour meatball. I find that adding 1/4c of ketchup really adds a tangy flavour that this recipe seemed to lack . I also substitute flour with cornstarch. It gives the meatballs a beautiful glazed effect.
