Naan

Reviewed: May 14, 2008
I let my bread maker do all the work so this Naan bread was easy to make. It makes A LOT (I got about 16 medium sized Naan) so I will probably half the recipe next time...Will definately make this every time we have Indian food.

Dukkah

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2008
This is a great recipe - everyone LOVED it. I had to make a few changes because I couldn't find cumin or coriander seeds - so I used coriander flakes and cumin powder. I also used 1/2 almonds, 1/2 hazelnuts. I don't know what the original recipe was meant to taste like but it was wonderful with my changes. Also, we like to dip the bread in balsamic vinegar and olive oil - its a great combination.

Banana Cake VI

I gave this cake away so I didn't get to taste it - But I am giving it a 5 based on its wonderful smell and perfect appearance! Can't wait to make one for my own family so we can taste it too! It took about 15 mins longer to cook than stated

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I don't know what went wrong but it must have been something I did because most other reviewers rate these highly. I just couldn't get them to cook through - they were brown on the outside but gooey in the middle. I will have to try again someday...

French Pastry Pie Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
This is the most PERFECT EASY TO USE pastry I have ever made! I used it for Grandma Oples Apple pie and it was delicious. I have never had pastry roll out so easily before. I live in New Zealand and we don't have shortening so I just used butter and it worked fine. Thanks I'll be using this forever!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
These were the best. I was asked to bake some oatmeal raisin cookies and thought I would give this recipe a try. I added 3/4 cup raisins, 1/4 tsp mixed spice, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and left out the nuts. They were soft and chewy and delicious. I also added 1/4 cup extra flour as suggested by other reviewers - they didn't go flat at all.

This is a great idea! My kids loved them but the adults probably loved them more! They are yummy served with Ranch dressing. I didn't bother with the lollypop sticks however.

Jam Filled Butter Cookies

I made mine a little too big so it only made 25 but they still looked and tasted wonderful. I filled half with berry jam and the other half with apricot jam. I will definately be making these again.
