Beautiful bread! It had great color, texture and flavor. The dough was a little hard and took some time to rise, (about 1.5 hrs each time) so I think I'll add less flour next time. It rised again while baking in the oven so I had nice tall loaves. I ran a stick of butter over the top of the loaves when they came out of the pans while they were hot, and cut off a couple of slices right away...the flavor was devine! Thanks so much for this recipe. I think it is my new favorite bread.
