Amish White Bread

This is a nice bread with realtively tender crumb, but I did not care for the extra sweet flavor it had.

Westrup Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
This is a good bread. I like the fact that it makes 3 loaves and they are tasty. The only problem is that the dough is very dense and as a result the bread turns out less moist than I like. This does not, however, take away from its wonderful taste.

Cinnamon Chocolate Cake

Great flavor! You can really taste the cinnamon when it's hot, but it mellows down considerably with great results as it cools down. Also works great as muffins.

Great recipe. These were gone in about 1 hour after I brought them to work. Great next day too!

Buttermilk Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Beautiful bread! It had great color, texture and flavor. The dough was a little hard and took some time to rise, (about 1.5 hrs each time) so I think I'll add less flour next time. It rised again while baking in the oven so I had nice tall loaves. I ran a stick of butter over the top of the loaves when they came out of the pans while they were hot, and cut off a couple of slices right away...the flavor was devine! Thanks so much for this recipe. I think it is my new favorite bread.

Buttermilk-Herb Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
This was a GREAT bread! I didn't have any ranch dressing on hand so I used "Good Seasons Zesty Italian" powdered dressing and it was wonderful. It got a slight garlicy flavor that will enchance any bland lunch meat and cheese sandwich. It is a nice, soft bread that holds up for use in sandwiches. Very nice flavor. I will try to make it with ranch dressing and with no dressing, to see if there is any change. Thank you for sharing this.
