Crispy Marshmallow Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2014
I did about half the marshmallows and thought - there must be an easier way to do this, I was making a huge mess (but my dogs were happy...) so I cut up the marshmallows, put them in the bottom of a square pan, mixed the caramel & cereal together and poured it over top. So they were square and not round - they still tasted yummy!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2012
Thankfully I had the good sense to bring these to work or I would be laying on the floor in a sugar coma by now! PB cups are my favorite thing on earth so I found these wonderfully delicious. I (as some others did) used milk chocolate chips and a little less butter.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I use a similar recipe but use 1/2 peanut butter and 1/2 butter. I use blended oatmeal (put in blender and pulverize!) and milk chocolate chips and add some shaved semi-sweet chocolate. Needless to say, I like a very decadent cookie!

I made these for a potluck and everybody wasn't sure about them till they tried a bite. Really easy and fairly healthy!

Asparagus with Parmesan Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
I love asparagus and always look for different ways to fix it. This was great, but most anything with parmesan cheese is good!!

Easy Chicken Fajita Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2011
Really like this soup. I made it easier by just dumping everything in a crockpot (didn't pre-cook the chicken) and it was wonderful. Love coming home from work to smell dinner ready!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
Love these. I also cheated and used refrigerated cookie dough. I brought them to work and found people sneaking into the break room for more....I also used the paper muffin liners making clean up much easier.

Four Cheese Margherita Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2010
Gee, thanks Smiley1081 for the history lesson. This is a website to share recipes and ideas, not be critical of someone's naming of a recipe. I thought this was very good and hopefully I won't get thrown in Italian jail for drinking something other than beer with it.

Orange Braised Bourbon Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2010
Pretty good - lightly flavored chicken recipe. I hope I don't offend the photographer but PLEASE take that picture off, it looks like raw chicken and I almost passed this one up because of that.

Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I've used this recipe for years, never fails. I prefer cashews or pistachio nuts so I usually use them instead of peanuts. So easy and you don't have to wait for the candy thermometer!

Chicken and Bowtie Pasta with Asiago Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
Very nice pasta dish. I love asiago cheese. I used pre-cooked chicken so that saved some time. May try this with shrimp or italian sausage next time.

German French Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
Had to try it because it's different. Since I'm such a cheese fan, it tasted good to me! Might add bacon the next time. As for Nathalie's review - I didn't know we were reviewing the name of the recipe - lighten up.

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
I also used taco seasoning instead of the other spices. I tasted the meat mixture before I stuffed the shells and decided it still needed something so I added a can of spicy chili beans with sauce. I put the cheese on at the initial bake because I like it to get a little 'crusty' around the edges. I think you can really tailor this one to your personal preferences without losing the 'idea' of the recipe.

Mashed Potato Quesadilla

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2009
This was different enough I had to try it. I used frozen garlic mashed potato steamers and mixed the cheese into the mixture instead of placing it on top.

Cheddar Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2009
I've made this twice, the first time I followed the recipe exactly. The second time I added broccoli, mushrooms and a package of dry ranch dressing mix. I felt it needed some extra flavor.

Lasagna Alfredo Roll Ups

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
I cheated a bit and used large shells instead of the lasagna because of the "messy" comments made by others. I also added mushrooms. Very tasty!

Tasty Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
The title is correct, this is 'tasty'. Next time I'll probably use sweet italian sausage. As for the debate on whether it's 'authentic' Italian or not, who cares?! The title is tasty, not authentic and I think people need to see it as just another variation on a pasta sauce. I also, as another reviewer stated, like to simmer my sauce longer, so I did.

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Great, easy recipe. I mixed the spices and used them as a rub. Then I used ranch dip (not dressing)because I don't really like mayonaise and mixed it with the melted butter and cheese and spread on top. Loved the flavor and it kept the pork moist (I used thick boneless pork chops)

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
Great recipe - I also made a few changes based on personal preference - I used sweet italian sausage and added mushrooms. I also cut the recipe by half and it still filled a 9x13 pan. I do think it's the sour cream (which I tossed with the pasta as suggested)and provolone cheese that make this difference in this one.

Simple Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
This is quick and tasty. I used roasted garlic mushroom soup instead of adding garlic and as someone else suggested, a package of dry ranch dressing mix. I'm sure the leftovers will be even better!
