Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
The batter was a little too thick so I would add a little more milk next time. Otherwise, fluffy and delicious! I got 8 pancakes with the recipe cut in half, so expect 15 or 16 if you make the recipe as is - not 12.

Dutch Babies II

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
So delicious and easy to make!! These taste just like the ones my mom used to make but with easier instructions. If you don't have a cast iron skillet, a pie dish works great. The only things I change are preheating to 425 with the skillet in the oven (still turns out great without the original 475 temp), and I add a few drops of vanilla.

Baked Ziti III

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
This did not fit into a 2 qt baking dish and I didn't even add any meat! I used a 2 1/2 qt dish and it was filled to the top before I finished adding all the sauce. Almost a whole jar is left over. I'll just have to hope that it doesn't come out too dry. It was easy to make though.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I rarely make desserts that are better than restaurant quality, but today this one really did it! I did not change anything in the recipe and it came out great. I used 2 cans of condensed milk (about 3 cups) and the consistency is thick and easy to slice. It had the right amount of sweet/tart and was just wonderful in every way.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
Excellent recipe! I followed the recipe exactly. They were a little too fluffy for my personal taste and will add a little more milk next time. But the taste and texture are wonderful and I don't see myself ever going back to Bisquick.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2008
Maybe it's because I didn't use an electric mixer, but these cookies did not turn out right at all. I follwed the recipe exactly but ended up with lumps of dry cookies that did not flatten out or have a cookie-like texture.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
This was very good and pretty easy to make! We only had two pork chops but I followed the soup recipe anyway, after reading the reviews of wanting extra. Glad I did! I made with white rice and the sauce tasted so good with it. I baked 30 min without the sauce and 30 min with.

Party Punch VI

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
This punch was so easy to make and SO delicious!!! It was almost finished off by a crowd that wasn't even all that big, because everyone kept coming back for more. I used rainbow sherbert.

Broccoli Hamburger Casserole

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
I pleasantly surprised my husband with this wonderfully tasting dish that is so easy to make! I cut the recipe in half and wish I didn't, because the leftovers were gone very quickly. The only thing that would make this better is to use fresh or steamfresh broccoli instead of frozen. I made this recipe with small parsley potatoes on the side.

Ranch Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2007
This was the quickest, yummiest recipe ever! I used pasta shells instead of bowtie, omitted the green olives and did NOT double the black olives...there seemed to be enough with just one can. This is good with a lot of bacon bits!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Excellent banana bread! I followed another member's suggestions adding sour cream and vanilla. I didn't have enough bananas but the bread still turned out well. Moist, sweet and delicious!

Pink Icing Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
These cookies taste good but are too puffy and bordering on bread-like. Also, the "1-2 dozen" is FAR off. This recipe makes about 7 or 8 dozen! I didn't realize how much dough I was making till it was all done and I ended up throwing most of it out.
