I will never make another kind of mashed potato again! These are sooo good and I love how they stay hot during the meal!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
Very good - the only tuna casserole I will make from now on! I made as stated except the following: I added 1 tsp salt and pepper, used crushed ritz crackers instead of bread crumbs and mixed half the cheese into the noodles and the other half sprinkled on top. Very good!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
The only thing I changed was I added some veggies - carrots & peas. And my crockpot must be small b/c I could only fit 1 roll of dough in. Very good - we loved it!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
We thought this was really good. I made it exactly as the recipe stated - could have let it sit in the taco seasoning a bit. Served it with Spanish rice and black beans - great Mexican meal. Quick and easy too!

Brie and Cranberry Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
This is a keeper. I put the cresent rolls in the bottom of a 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkled the cut up brie on top - then dolloped the cranberry sauce on the brie. I only used about half the can of cranberries. Once it was done baking I smeared the cranberry and brie together. Turned out great and was not runny at all - not sure what people are doing to make it runny - maybe too much cranberry sauce?

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
Loved it! The only thing I changed was I cooked hot italian sausage then mixed it with the sauce. I always cooked my shells open side down - but liked them better open side up! Great recipe!

Lamb Chops with Balsamic Reduction

My husband loves this recipe! I don't make any changes and it's perfect evertime! Great with asparagus and some sort of mashed potato.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2007
Recipe was very good - I reduced the pepper just a little bit and let the rub sit on the meat for about 30 minutes. The only problem I had was my grill on low isn't quite low enough so it didn't cook as slow as it should have. So I'm sure the meat would have been more tender - but that's my grill's fault!

Very light & refreshing. I did add a bit more Italian dressing once it was on the plates.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2007
I followed recipe exactly - except I had to use frozen blueberries. The one's in the store didn't look so great. I thought these were very good. I'll make them again but maybe put a little bit more sugar in them - and try with fresh blueberries.

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2007
So I've never had kettle corn at the fair. The only kettle corn I've had is the kind out of a bag you put in the microwave. I'm not sure how this was supposed to turn out - it sort of has a glaze over it. It is very good and I'll make it again. I think I burnt some of the bottom b/c some pieces are a carmalized brown color. The flavor reminds me of a popcorn ball.

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2008
We thought this was very good. I only used 1 cup of ketchup and 2 pounds of kielbasa. Everything else I did exactly as written. I will make this again but next time try ommitting the water and putting in crushed pineapple instead. We ate this as an appetizer but it would be good with rice as a meal.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
Made exactly as the recipe states - except the peas as I forgot them at the store (i just added a bit more carrots & celery to make up for it) this recipe was awesome!! Mine wasn't dry at all! I cooked for 30 minutes and let rest for 10. I could have cooked it for 40 and it would have thickened a bit more. But it was very yummy! Will be making this again!!

Special Salmon Steaks

Great salmon recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except for the onions. I thought I had green onions at home but they had gone bad. The meal was great without them! We'll be making this one again.

This salad was surprisingly good! This could make a meal - it was quite filling. Only thing I left out was the cucumbers b/c my husband doesn't care for them. Great recipe!!

Absolutely the Best Nacho Dip Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
Thought this was a great recipe. The only changes I made was to the toppings - seemed like it needed a little more. I added sliced olives, chopped jalepeno peppers & omitted the cucumbers. I was going to put them on but my husband said no (he doesn't really like them) We both thought it was great and unique tasting compared to other taco dips out there. Will definitely make again! I had to come back. I've made this recipe several times and everyone loves it. It gets gobbled up and I always get compliments.
