I really don’t understand why the recipe calls for sugar..I guess if the fruits aren’t in season you might need to sweet them up otherwise..you definitely don’t need the sugar. Time consuming: yes! Lot of cutting..maybe next time I’ll buy the chopper…I used, 2 golden apples, 2 kiwis, half cup of fresh pineapple, half cup of mango and only half pound of strawberries and it was enough! About the chips! Great hit! Bought 12” tortilla and cut them in 12 triangles. No doubt the idea of the muffin pan is the best! Make the chips scoopable :o) loved them!. Don’t get me wrong: everyone loved it and without the sugar and cirup the recipe is quite healthy but as some comments said: it’s a lot of time consuming for a fruit salad. Oh! I used “I cannot believe is not butter spay” on the first batch of chips and then I run out of it. So I used regular melted butter. I liked better the first batch! And on top of that NO CALORIES ON THE BUTTER!!!
This is a keeper (as long as you have a chopper!)
