Gorgonzola and Wild Mushroom Risotto

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2010
This is truly delicious! The combination of flavors is amazing!!! Five Star!! I did not have truffle oil, so instead I used a little bit of olive oil and more butter.

Halibut Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
This was an easy recipe, and great taste! I am a beginner cook and I had no problems making this. I followed others suggestions and foiled the baking dish, added dill, s/p the fish, and cooked at the times listed. It came out with a really good flavor. The fish was moist and the sauce was not overpowering, it left me with a taste of halibut. I also did 1/2 cup parmesan and 1/2 cheddar. DELICIOUS!

Marinated Scallops Wrapped in Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
Made these for the first time tonight... they are so good! I marinated the scallops for 20 minutes, and I actually think I would prefer them to be a little sweeter so next time I will for 30 minutes. I did not have dijon mustard, but stone ground and it tasted fine. I was concerned about that, but it really tastes yummy! Think of bacon wrapped smokies... similar taste!

Deep Fried Cheese Curds

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
I just came back from a trip in the heart of Wisconsin, and brought home fresh cheese curds. I used those and followed the recipes exactly, and it does have a "pancake" taste batter. However, when I added some black pepper, garlic salt, and a little bit of Cajun seasoning it was fantastic! Otherwise, it is a bit bland for me.

Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
This is a great recipe for a breakfast pizza, and allows the cook to add as many ingredients as they wish! I have made this pizza with fresh and frozen potato, both are good. You can substitute the sausage with pre-cooked, or even bacon! I have tried both of these options and it was fantastic! Like other reviewers have said, three eggs do not seem like enough, just be sure to pour it evenly over the pizza. 3 eggs are just the right amount, otherwise the eggs will fluff up too much and takes away from the pizza quality/feel.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
For crock-pot enthusiasts: I made this recipe in the crockpot for 5 hours, and the flavor was wonderful! The veggies and chicken were cooked perfectly, and omitted the flour, 1/2 and 1/2. However, unlike what another reviewer said, you do not want to throw in the rice at the beginning, otherwise it is way too mushy and it becomes a "chicken and wildrice" mush (which was still good to eat!). My second go-around I added the rice for the last 2 hours, was a very nice texture.
