Chicken Wild Rice Soup I
For crock-pot enthusiasts:
I made this recipe in the crockpot for 5 hours, and the flavor was wonderful! The veggies and chicken were cooked perfectly, and omitted the flour, 1/2 and 1/2. However, unlike what another reviewer said, you do not want to throw in the rice at the beginning, otherwise it is way too mushy and it becomes a "chicken and wildrice" mush (which was still good to eat!). My second go-around I added the rice for the last 2 hours, was a very nice texture.
