Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
These take some time and work, but they are well worth it. I've found that the longer I let the dough sit and rise (at least an hour), the easier it is to manage. I've made this recipe many times, and I will make it again and again!

Blueberry Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
Decadent! I used a little less sugar and also ended up using less of the brown sugar-pecan mixture. It was still plenty sweet and next time I'll reduce the sugar a little more. This is a great cake though, and everyone loved it!

Decadent Raspberry Brownies

Reviewed: May 31, 2009
I made these for my husband's birthday party since he loves the raspberry-chocolate combination and everybody loved them! Many people proclaimed them to be the best brownies they'd ever had, others said they usually don't like frosted brownies, but these were fantastic. They're easy to make and don't take much time. I put in a little less sugar and they still tasted plenty sweet. Make sure not to overbake them. I will definitely make these again!

Chocolate Mint Candies Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2007
If you love thin mints, you will love these cookies. They are easy to make, and they turn out great with a moist, perfectly chewy consistency that will keep for days. I got rave reviews for these cookies and will make them again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
These were my first cookie-baking endeavor, and they turned out wonderfully. My friend, an excellent baker herself, told me I'm "a natural" and my fiance said they were "just like my mom's." :) I experimented with the size of the cookies, and the smaller ones tasted as good as the larger ones. They stayed soft and chewy for a few days. This is definitely a great recipe for anyone who is new to baking cookies!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
Excellent cheesecake. I was worried after reading some of the other reviews that it wouldn't turn out well, but it's delicious! The only thing that didn't work for me was coating the chocolate chips in flour - the recipe says this prevents them from sinking to the bottom, but they still did. I have to agree with previous reviews that the crust is delicious, almost like a cookie. The cooking time worked out perfectly on this one. Finally, one of the people who had a piece actually said to me "You bought this cheesecake, right?" What better compliment can you get? I'll definitely make this again.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
GREAT brownies! Easy and quick to make, always turn out great. I love the topping... although some people have found it a tad too sweet. I've found that I need to add just a splash of milk to make the frosting smooth. Overall, a true crowd pleaser! They really hit the spot when you're craving brownies.

Coffee Liqueur Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2007
This was my first time making brownies, so maybe I did something wrong, but they didn't come out very well. I added a lot more coffee and Kahlua than the recipe called for, and you could still NOT taste a coffee taste. It tasted like chocolate though. They came out slightly dry and crisp on top, and like previous reviewers I think there was too little batter for the pan. I also melted the butter and chocolate in the micorwave, which worked just fine. I'll try to find a better recipe next time...

Very Berry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
I wasn't sure about this one, but people LOVED it. I have never gotten that many compliments for a cheesecake - and that was even though I had baked it too long. The vanilla wafer crust is wonderful and nicely compliments the tartness of the berries.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2007
This is soooo very good and so easy! Every time I've made this bread it has come out moist and yummy. I sometimes mix some sugar and cinnamon and add that as a topping before I put the bread in the oven. It makes it just a little more dessert-y. I've gotten a lot of compliments on this. Definitely my favorite banana bread recipe!

Luscious Lemon Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 10, 2007
This is a really good cheesecake for summer, when you still want cheesecake, but a lighter taste. Easy to make, turned out perfect the first time, and actually gets better a couple of days after baking.

New York Cheesecake III

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2007
This was my first foray into cheesecake-making. It came out a little liquid in the middle - I had cranked down the oven temperature a little because one of the other reviews said it burned, maybe that was the reason. It still tastes mighty good, but I think Graham crackers in the crust would make it even better. I might make this again.

Best Moist Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2007
Easy and quick to make, and manages to fulfill those chcolate cravings. I used butter instead of margarine, and instead of all milk, I used half milk and half heavy whipping cream. Delicious!!!
