Chocolate Chip Scones

It was an okay recipe for a scone. I would classify this more as a biscuit in terms of texture. I made this one night and waited until they had cooled completely before putting them in a container. The next day I had one out of the container at room temp and it lost the crunchy outside and instead the whole thing was chewy. Not sure if I'd make this again and if I did I would definitely make changes like adding oil instead of all applesauce to make it less chewy.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

It was very tasty and the only reason it didn't get a full 5 stars was because it was missing a little something. To really make it I added some red pepper flakes (or you could add cayenne pepper) to give it some heat with the sweet. I used chicken thighs and totally forgot to cut the amount of sauce down so after we cooked the chicken we put the left-over sauce in a pot on the stove (added some pepper flakes) and thickened it, delicious!

Honey Lemon Cookies

Very tasty, but if you don't like really sweet cookies (like myself) I would cut down on the sugar. I listened to the other reviews and used lemon yogurt and they turned out great! I did not put the glaze on because the added sugar would have been too much for me.

Coconut Chocolate Slices

This dough was the most frustrating dough I have ever had to work with and after all the annoyance it gave me it was not even that great. However, the filling is incredibly tasty and delicious. I'd recommend using the filling with a different chocolate cookie, I'm doing to sandwich it between two chocolate cookies, and enjoying it that way. Without the filling this would have been a complete waste.

Puff Pastry Salmon

tasty tasty, it makes quite a bit though, and it helps A LOT to roll out the pasty dough. I tried this without rolling it and it would not stay together. Also, I added some mushrooms that I had sauteed in red wine before hand, and it went very nicely with the other flavors in here.
