Chocolate Peanut Butter Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
It's a good cookie in general but for those that don't like cakey cookies, these are definitely cakey cookies. THey are really light and not too sweet which is nice, I just am not a fan of cakey cookies.

Treasure Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
I personally did not like these cookies as I'm not a huge coconut fan but my roommates and co-workers all loved them. They stayed fresh for the 3 days they were around. I had trouble with them burning on the edges so I'm not sure how to alleviate that. A quick breakdown to save some people time... 1 cup of the graham crackers was equal to 5 full graham crackers crunched up.

Blue Ribbon White Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
I think I may have not let is rise enough because it was a very dense bread... Not sure if that was me or the recipe but I'd imagine if it had risen more it would have been much better! Also found after 2 days it was quite dry already.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: May 25, 2008
Amazing!!! I added the OJ as suggested (as well as water) and found a nice way to avoid the stickiness of the dough.... put about a 1/4 cup of sugar in a bowl and drop a spoonful of cookie dough in, use spoon to cover dough with sugar and lightly form it into a ball. No more mess! Great recipe--- thanks so much, it received rave reviews!

Raisin Rye Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
definitely delicious! They are great served with ghee and honey! I gave it a 4 simply because some people may be expecting a softer, chewier muffin but these are drier than the normal muffin due to the rye flour. May not be to the liking of everyone but my boyfriend and I found them yummilicious. I agree that filling the muffin cups to the top was the way to go. Thanks for the advice and thanks for a great recipe!

Butter Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
I brought this to a family potluck w/Afghani bread and was a bit nervous because my family isn't into spicy or 'exotic' foods. They loved it and I received numerous compliments! I did make a few adjustments to the recipe. First I did half potatoes and half cauliflower, which definitely gave it a lot more texture and flavor. I would maybe add carrots next time.... I didn't have garam masala so I substituted a mixture of tumeric, cinnamon, and ground cloves. The flavor came out great, but very mild so I would use some cayenne or add peppers next time. I also substituted the milk/cream with light coconut milk and replaced the recommended amount of powder ginger with fresh ginger. I used a 26 oz. can of tomato soup (for a double recipe) which was a little more than called for in the recipe but found the sauce to be the perfect consistency for picking up with the Afghani bread.

Monster Cookies VI

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2007
People definitely love these cookies! I do a few adjustments to the recipe to make it less sweet and divide out the goodness a little more... I cut the amount of brown sugar to 1 cup and the white sugar to 3/4 cup. I use half quick oats and half old fashioned oats. And so I can get chocolate in tinier bits all over the cookies, I use mini baking M and Ms and the mini chocolate chips. I tried it with chunky PB but found the smooth PB tasted a tad bit better. I was fooled the first time and waited until they looked done before I took them out. That meant they weren't as chewy so make sure to take them out right before they look done!
