Ham and Split Pea Soup Recipe - A Great Soup

Yummy! After I devoured some myself, I froze the rest in individual portions to deliver to my father in law since split pea soup is his favorite. Next time I will double the recipe!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Soooooooo good! The only change I made was I added 1/2 cup white wine to the butter and olive oil in the first step. Make this, you will not regret it!!!

Grilled Marinated Shrimp

I made extra marinade and did the veggies with it! Yellow squash, zucchini and red bell peppers...yum! I didn't use skewers though, I just did them in a foil boat over the grill. Easy and delicious...can't beat it!

Delish! The only thing I did differently was added one green bell pepper and 6 shakes from the cayenne pepper spice bottle (the McCormick one with the red lid. Loved it!!!

Pasta Pomodoro

Delish! Used crushed basil in a tube, was wonderful. I added spinach at the end as another reviewer suggested...it added nice color and was an easy way to get extra veggies in our diet. We added three chicken breasts. Yum!

Sugar Coated Pecans

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Stuffed Pork Roast with Herb Seasoned Artichoke and Mushroom Stuffing

The stuffing mixture in this recipe will be our go-to stuffing for holidays. I used more bread crumbs that called for because the mixture seemed too wet, and I'm glad I did. YUMM!!!

Cocktail Meatballs

Per another's suggestion, I used frozen meatballs (make sure they're NOT Italian) and my residents (I work in a senior living community) loved them! I also made them last year for my boyfriend to take to his work potluck, and he asked me to make them again this year. Tasty stuff!

Four Cheese Macaroni

I loved this recipe! I did many of the changes other people mentioned...doubled the non-processed cheeses, tempered only 1 egg, used 2 cups of half and half. I also added parmesan cheese and 2 tsp dry mustard. Then I made a cheese sauce before adding the noodles. I sprinkled an italian breadcrumb and parmesan mix on top. Then I baked it at 350 for 11 minutes and broiled it for 5. Yum!!!!!
