My family does this every year, so this year, we made our annual bunny cake.  I have a 6, 3, and 0 year old.  The cake, I am embarrassed to say, is the Betty Crocker Rainbow Bits cake (I was being lazy), but the icing is the Wilton Icing.  I was taught to add 1 TBSP of Egg White powder to it to help it stabilize.  But the problem is the icing was VERY thick!!  It did not spread well.  My friends who are avid Wilton fans, told me it was because I used 4 cups of Icing Sugar instead of 1lb, so there was too much icing sugar and I did not adjust accordingly.  I love the Betty Crocker Whipped Icing, but you cannot do any shapes with it, so what I need to find is something in the middle that allows me to use the star shape or hair head.

Anyways I am quite proud of my children's decorating skills and the end result even if there are some brown cake crumbs in my lovely white icing.

I will be posting a picture once my hubby figures out how to convert the raw images from our camera.
