Creamy Rice Pudding
This is delicious rice pudding. I used cooked jasmine rice and dark raisins since they were what I had in the fridge. I beat the egg with the 1/2 cup of milk and when the hot mixture was cooked I tempered the egg mixture with a little of the it, beating it so as to not curdle it. Then I added the egg mixture back into the hot mixture mixing rapidly.

Fast and Easy Israeli Tahini Cookies
I had a cup of tahini in the fridge which I wanted to use up and was looking for a simple recipe. I did not have unsalted butter so I used salted. I didn't feel like rolling the dough into little balls but, instead, patted the dough out on a sheet pan, cut it into squares with a dough scraper, and baked it for about 20 minutes. I like the taste of these simple cookies because they are not too sweet.

It was much too sweet. I would cut the sugars in half if I made it again.
