Parmesan Knots

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2009
THIS RECIPE WAS AWESOME!! I SCALED THE SERVINGS DOWN BECAUSE THERE WERE JUST 2 OF US. PER OTHER REVIEWERS I USED BUTTER INSTEAD OF OLIVE OIL AND I USED PILLSBURY BREADSTICKS. I STRETCHED 2 STICKS OUT, GAVE THEM A COUPLE OF TWISTS AND TIED IN A LOOSE NOT. USE FRESH MINCED GARLIC IT REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!

Green Chili Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
This is exactly like the stew I had in New Mexico. The only change I made was I added 2 diced fresh jalepenos because we like a little extra heat. We fill tortilla shells with the stew mixture and top it with a little cheese and sour cream!! YUM!

The flavor was outstanding. We like this herb butter on corn on the cob or we spread it on toasting bread right when it comes out of the toaster. It is a must try.

This was an excellent soup for a cold winter day! It had amazing depth and flavor. Per other reviewers I used canned chicken broth instead of the boullion and water, added some minced garlic and I sprinkled some bacon on top before I served it. If you haven't tried this recipe yet, it is a MUST TRY!!!

Mexican Rice III

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
Excellent side dish. Per other reviewers I didn't put the cilantro in until ready to serve. Didn't add green pepper because I didn't have any on hand still turned out great. Didn't use chicken bouillon because I felt the chicken broth (1 can) had enough flavor. I will def. rotate this dish!!!! Love the fresh jalapeno pepper in it!

Montreal Steak Seasoned Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
Great! Jammed packed with flavor. Took the advice of other reviews and cut the amount of Montreal Steak seasoning in half and omitted the salt. I added 1/2 tsp. of minced garlic to the potatoes when they were boiling and also put 1/2 tsp of minced garlic in the potatoe when they were mashed. Added a bit more bacon and chopped green onions. The green onion gave it a very nice crunch. Excellent way to serve mashed potatoes. This is a must try!!

I used 2 packages of shredded cheese. I put 1 package of taco seasoning in the meat mixture. Make sure you simmer the meat mixture for 20 to 30 min so all the flavors can come together. VERY VERY GOOD!!!
