Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This was so easy and amazing! My husband it picky and have loved it. It had a tiny kick to it but not too much for my 2 year old who loved it too. Will definitely make again. I was also able to freeze half of this for later!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
It was good but it was just a little too much. I guess when I'm eating fish I like for it to taste somewhat healthy but it was too thick for our liking. Not bad by any means...just probably won't make again...

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
These are fantastic!!!! This made 12 large standard size muffins so that impressed me b/c I can freeze a few for later. I wanted something that we could grab and go for breakfast that was somewhat healthy and didn't come from a box. I only had 2 bananas so I used 1/2 cup of cinnamon applesauce in place of the 3rd banana. I also added a few pinches of cinnamon. Also, after mashing my bananas the batter was still pretty lumpy but no worries...I think they turned out even better b/c of that! I think next time I'll try a little bit of vanilla extract just for fun. The recipe really is great with no changes though! The muffins not only taste great but come out looking professionally made!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
MMMmmazing! This was so fun and different. I would never think to make my own chips but I have to say...it was fun and I felt really Martha Steward by making my own chips. I made this for a baby shower and it was a hit!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
This turned out really moist and soooo good. It didn't look great until I cut into it and beware...you'll have a hard time putting your fork down. I sprinkled mine with powdered sugar for some color but would be devine with a chocolate drizzle!

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
These are realllly good. I used a little less tomato sauce but it still seemed like it was going to be really liquidy. I was worried...but fear not...it turned out great and these enchiladas needed all that sauce! Let the sauce simmer for several minutes to thicken. These were even better the next day!

My family loved this! I like that it uses the italian style mix...added that extra flavor! Definitely will add this one to my "favorites."

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
This was good but I'm not a huge spinach fan. I think that next time I would use maybe 1 can and would consider fresh spinach...canned spinach just doesn't taste great. Other than that it was good!

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
This recipe was very interesting...almost too interesting for our all American taste buds. You could definitely taste the cinnamon. I don't think I'll put this on my regular rotation but it was fun to try!

Mom's Paprika Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2011
We loved this recipe tonight b/c it's soo easy, quick, and easy clean up! The chicken was so tender and the veggies were great. There was a perfect glaze over the chicken. I used 1 Tbsp. of paprika and was just right. This will go in my recipe book for sure!

Tater Tot Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
This recipe is good if you're looking for something quick and very easy. It probably doesn't need all the onion but it does have good flavor. I think next time I'd coat the entire top with tator tots...it kind of helps even out the mushiness. I'll probably make it again if I get in a crunch for time and ingredients.

Whipped Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
These are great! If you're looking for something quick, tasty, and convenient this is the recipe for you! I made these to take to my mom's house for Thankgsgiving and just popped them in the fridge until I'm ready to re-heat (bake) later. I did try while still warm and they tasted great! Perfect as a side.

Baked Ziti III

This was really good!! I got mad at my husband when he ate the rest of the leftovers. Haha! There was only my husband and I so we had enough for lunch for each of us for two days. Makes a lot! I'm making this again tonight.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
My husband is hard to please and I have tried several recipes on this site and he has thought they were all "okay." Well, this recipe he LOVED! I loved it too! Wouldn't change a thing...use real lemon and lime...I can see how the fake stuff would not taste as fresh.

Mongolian Beef I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
I did not have green onions or carrots but tried this recipe anyway thinking that the sauce (including garlic, red pepper and soy) would be a good enough flavor. It tasted kind of bland. I could taste a bit of the red pepper but that was it. It tasted more like a thick stew. Maybe it would taste much better with the green onions??
