Fabulous Chicken Roses

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
The Chicken came out yummy, but there was WAY too much mess and work for the results. Also my picky 5 year old wouldn't eat it because she didn't like the smell.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2009
Simple, adaptable, and bullet proof. The first time I make a recipe, I always follow it to the letter. This worked great. The next time I made it, I browned it an all sides. This worked even better, it was totally tender and juicy! Today I had to finally sit down and write a review…because I love the adaptability of this very simple recipe! We were a bit strapped for cash this month and so I used an inexpensive pork roast since beef was a bit too spendy. WOW! It was awesome! I browned it and followed the rest of the recipe as written. Kudo’s for a yummy keeper for my recipe box!

Barbeque Beef Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
Very Tasty, but next time I will use a sweeter BBQ sauce. Also, be sure to bake for 35 minutes not 25.

Dump Cake IV

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly. It turned out WAY too sweet and very goopy. Luckily I tried it on my family before we used it for company. Will not make this version again, but may try some of the alternates that some folks have suggested.

Fresh Strawberry Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I have made this recipe several times now. The first time I made it just as written and although it was very yummy the dough was wet. The strawberries you use directly effect the outcome! If you have very ripe sweet berries you will get a wet and yummy dough, if you get some that rea not so ripe you will have less trouble with moisture but the taste will not be as good. My final solution was to use a combination of dried strawberries and dried strawberry flavored crasins. YUM! Also faboo with dried blueberries. (Be sure to mince them a bit so they are not so big.)
