Herbed Biscuit Knots

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2012
Delicious! I used crescent rolls, swapped butter for the olive oil, and cut the salt in half. Quick and easy!

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2011
This was delicious! My husband loved it. I did make a couple of changes though. I cut a pocket in the chicken breasts, seasoned the inside, and pushed the slices of cream cheese inside. I didn't have chives on hand. I used thick cut bacon, and wrapped each breast with two slices, and secured with toothpicks. I then browned them in a skillet until the bacon was nice and crispy. I knew if I just put them in the oven without browning first the bacon would be mush…yuck! I cut down on the mayo and milk as well. Delicious, and a definite keeper!

Drop Biscuits and Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
Update: My original review is below. I decided to give the biscuits another go as it was suggested that I over mixed them. I wish I would have just stuck to my original review of them. I did not over mix these, but yet again they were horrible. Same as last time. The gravy was again superb. Also, the biscuit to gravy ratio is off. Double the biscuits and you should be fine. I got 6 very tiny biscuits and loads of gravy. I wish I could rate the biscuits and gravy separately. The gravy was superb. I made it as is and it tasted delicious. Definitely will do again. The biscuits, however, were not that great. I'm from the South and biscuits are supposed to be light and fluffy. These were dense and chewy.

Birthday Bones

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2008
My Husky LOVES these bones! They are his absolute favorite. He sits under me while I make them and can hardly wait for them to finish baking. I didn't change a thing, the recipe is perfect. Thanks for such a great, healthy treat recipe! I feel so much better knowing exactly what's going into my boy's treats!

Microwave Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
Candy in a microwave! Who would have thought?? This was a delicious recipe! I made it for Christmas gifts and everyone LOVED it! Like one reviewer said...do NOT use a plastic bowl. Also, I did have to lower the cooking time as I have a powerful microwave. It came out perfect though! No gooey mess here, just beautiful brittle!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
What could be better than spending little time in the kitchen and getting a great dish!? This recipe is splendid. The chicken came out very nice and moist. The stuffing was beautiful as well. I didn't have any problems that others are complaining of.

This is a fantastic recipe. It tastes just like the one served at Outback. I made my own honey mustard dressing. Yum!

Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
All I have to say is yummo! I gave it four stars because I did cut the biscuit ingredients in half. It was too much dough for us. I also would not recommend using canned biscuits. Take the few extra minutes and make your own, it tastes so much better!

Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
This is a great recipe! It's got great flavor. All my family and friends love it. It's even better the second time around. Note...if you're using cheap cheeses it's probably not going to taste so great. Sometimes you just can't skimp on quality!

Herbed Corn

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
This is absolutely delicious. Once I'm done cooking the corn I leave it in the hot pan and add the butter and herbs. I've found just letting it sit brings out the flavor even more. A great sidedish!

Italian Style Pork Chops

These are delicious! Instead of dredging them I mix all the ingredients and then spoon the mixture on top of the chops. It makes a lovely, tender chop with a yummy, crunchy topping.

Luscious Slush Punch

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
Absolutely the best punch ever! I wouldn't change a thing. I divided mine into quart sized freezer bags since it is just for my husband and I. We yank it out and scoop some in a glass and add some soda whenever we want a glass. Delicious!

This recipe is delicious! You can also substitute low fat mayo and condensed soup and it still tastes great! I also throw in some extra curry. It's a keeper in my house.
