Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
So good even for leftovers! I too didn't have time for marinade, but i stuck it in the fridge flesh side down in the juice for 30 mins or so then did the foil pouch thing and it was fantastic. Had left overs so heated them up right in the oven in the same pouch and fliped them to be skin side up half way through. I put in on a nice firm bread and drizzled the remainder of the juice and had a yummy treat! The skin came off so easily, just gently used the edge of a fork. Next time i'd like to try it with pepper for a nice spicy kick

English Trifle

Delish! Very easy to do and tastes great! Not too filling and will serve a good size group. Although my people kept having seconds so maybe not;) I used banana pudding and it was great. Next time i will try it with lemon cake instead. I think that will be delightful.

Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2010
absolutely yummm! my husband loves this!! to cut down cook time a ton, i added the potatoes to the broth early instead of cooking them on the side like another reviewer mentioned, i did use the bullion and beef stock and a little water, and fully cooked the meat on the side. otherwise, i haven't changed a thing!

Bubba's Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2011
Delicious. As I was cooking I was afraid there weren't enough spices so I added minced garlic to the veggies when cooking those. I added a dash of chili pepper and tumeric. It might not have needed it so i didnt put much so as not to ruin the recipe, but it was devine. Very flavorful and nice and spicey. I also did the andjoui (sp) and my market had a cajaun sausage so I figured that would go well too. i deskinned them and made little balls. I also cooked the rice seperate in my rice cooker and did a little less water so it was slighlty undercooked. Cause i still wanted the rice to soak up all those flavors. Then I added it to the simmering pot (let some of the liquid cook down since rice was almost done) simmered that for 10 mins then added my raw shrimp simmered 5 and the bacon on top. This recipe is so good, i could barely wait for it to cool off to eat !!! Hubby loves it!!. (Also it took me more like almost 2hrs because i chopped everything fresh and cooked all my meats first.)
