Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
Instead of BBQ'ing, I marinated the chicken for about two hours, then "fried" it in a 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. I made a lot of extra marinade and warmed it up with some pineapple chunks. I served it over white rice, and used the extra marinade for a dressing for the rice. This recipe was incredible, and a huge hit at our dinner party. I can't wait to have it again!

Snow Monkey

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2007
This drink was a major hit at a recent party I threw. We had a menu of about 15 drinks, but EVERYONE had this drink all night. I made about 100 of them!! After a few, I decided to throw it all into a blender and add a little extra ice and some shredded coconut...amazing! Great drink recipe. I will include them at all of my parties!

Guacamole

Good, but too much onion. Make sure you let it sit in the fridge for an hour before serving. The onion needs to mellow out.

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
This was so good! I fried the chops with an onion. I seasoned the chops with salt and pepper, and garlic powder. I also minced two cloves of garlic. I took the onion and the pork chops and put them in a pyrex. I made four times the sauce for two pork chops and also used two apples. Then I put this all in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes!

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
I LOVED this sangria! I made it for our house warming party, and scaled it to 50 servings. I used a sweeter red wine, and cut out some of the sugar. I also added some apple pieces. Everyone LOVED it, even my sister and mother who don't drink. Great Recipe! Cant wait to make it again!!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
Excellent! I put salt and pepper along with adobo seasoning all over the roast. I put dried onion flakes and two huge cloves of garlic (minced). I covered the roast in rootbeer in the crock pot and cooked on low for 7 hours/. I drained the rootbeer and used Jack daniels bbq sauce, shredded the pork and cooked on low for an additional hour. served on hampurger buns with potato salad.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
I used Turkey instead of beef, left out the cheese, added fresh garlic. Not my favorite, but that is because I used turkey, the recipe was very good. I did save some of the egg mixture for the top!

Mini Sour Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
These were great. I had to cook them on a lower temp 350 for about 35 minutes. I thought they were a little sweeter then I would like. So next time I would add a little salt.

Honey Baked Chicken II

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
This dish was so delish! I used skinless, boneless chicken breasts instead of pieces. I also added a minced clove of garlic and used dijon mustard. When I tasted the sauce alone I was disappointed, but then with the chicken and potatoes it was so good! I never had curry before and wanted to try something different. So glad I did!!!!!

Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2010
I changed this slightly. I used pre-packaged minced garlic, instead of whole cloves. I also used a package of cream cheese, and some sour cream. I used heavy cream instead of milk. Finally, I boiled the potatoes in chicken broth instead of water. I just kept adding garlic, pepper, and salt to taste, so I can't say how much I used exactly. But they were delicious!!!

So good! Tasted like it was fried chicken cutlets, but they are baked. I followed the recipe. Just added adobo seasoning to my already italian seasoned bread crumbs.
