Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
Excellent! I put salt and pepper along with adobo seasoning all over the roast. I put dried onion flakes and two huge cloves of garlic (minced). I covered the roast in rootbeer in the crock pot and cooked on low for 7 hours/. I drained the rootbeer and used Jack daniels bbq sauce, shredded the pork and cooked on low for an additional hour. served on hampurger buns with potato salad.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2011
I used Turkey instead of beef, left out the cheese, added fresh garlic. Not my favorite, but that is because I used turkey, the recipe was very good. I did save some of the egg mixture for the top!

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
This was so good! I fried the chops with an onion. I seasoned the chops with salt and pepper, and garlic powder. I also minced two cloves of garlic. I took the onion and the pork chops and put them in a pyrex. I made four times the sauce for two pork chops and also used two apples. Then I put this all in the oven at 350 for 45 minutes!

So good! Tasted like it was fried chicken cutlets, but they are baked. I followed the recipe. Just added adobo seasoning to my already italian seasoned bread crumbs.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2011
Good, but too much onion. Make sure you let it sit in the fridge for an hour before serving. The onion needs to mellow out.

Mini Sour Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
These were great. I had to cook them on a lower temp 350 for about 35 minutes. I thought they were a little sweeter then I would like. So next time I would add a little salt.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
I tried this recipe for the first time on Christmas. I've never made my own sauce before. The sauce was so good!!! I used whole peeled tomatoes. I also put all the ingredients in at the same time. After it simmered for about four hours, I ran it through a blender. I then added the meatballs and simmered for an additional six hours. The more days that pass, the better the sauce is. For the meat balls I used half beef ad half ground sausage-delish! Several people asked for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2010
I think I didn't love this because of a mistake I made. So my advice - adhere to the cooking time suggested! I over cooked it and it was so bland and one textured I didn't eat it. I think it would be great if I cut the cooking time down to what is advised.
