About this Cook
Married for 20+ years. We have 5 children, from 19 yrs. to 8 yrs. I enjoy baking for my husband and kids, mostly family recipes from my Mother over the years... "Secret recipes" that we've been making since forever. Love trying new things as well!
My favorite things to cook
Family recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies, tweaked a bit. Very yummy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our St. Patrick's Day traditions

Grandma's Chocolate Zucchini Brownies
These were "okay", but not great. They were somewhat dry. I'll stick with my other recipes for zucchini brownies and chocolate zucchini cake.

Shepherd's Pie VI
Very good. Unfortunately, I didn't have any onions, so just added frozen vegetables for extra "filling". But yummy anyway.

Dad's Leftover Turkey Pot Pie
Very good. Added potatoes, because I always put potatoes in my chicken pot pies. (Used chicken instead of turkey.) Made 2 pies, with only top crust. Was out of a few of the seasonings, so added some lemon pepper seasoning, and basil. Both pies overflowed and created quite a mess in the oven, so next time I won't make them quite so full.
