Pork Chalupas

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
My family all raved about how great it smelled while it was cooking. My husband kept saying while he was eating it that he needed to stop eating, he was over eating, but he couldn't help himself. The only thing I'll do different next time is I'll use about a half TBSP less salt. We served it in flour tortillas with cilantro and corn salsa which highlighted the flavors beautifully!

Sun Dried Tomato Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2010
It was amazing how little flavor this had for how much seasoning is in it. It wasn't bad. It was NOT great. It was....okay.

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2009
Super good, super EASY! One thing I found out - if you use the white chocolate kisses or the DARK chocolate kisses, they melt much nicer than the milk chocolate kisses. So, I usually go for the dark chocolate kisses.

Orange Rosemary Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
This is a wonderful and subtle recipe. I know, with nearly a half cup of fresh herbs, it might make you think it's going to be overpowering - it's NOT! It's so tender, and juicy, and subtle. It has a very fresh taste to it, if that makes sense. I'd encourage everyone to at least try this recipe.

Chicken A La Orange

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
As others said, this was incredibly bland. It seemed like a good sauce BASE, but like it was missing all the spice. Kind of like if you were use to white sauce on your potatoes instead of cheese sauce. White sauce is the base, not the flavor. This orange sauce was the base, but it lacked flavor.

Dairy Free Chocolate Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
My daughter is very restricted with how much dairy she can have. This recipe works very well for her. I have found that while I can use rice, almond, or soy milk, soy milk makes it set up the best, although vanilla almond milk makes it TASTE the best. Also, I just use an ounce of melted unsweetened chocolate instead of cocoa, it gives a richer flavor. Also, I increased the sugar to 1/3 of a cup. Both of these adjustments made a very good recipe excellent!

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
This is a very simple recipe, but it does take a knack to be able to pop it without burning or browning it. I found, after I pop it, if I drizzle a tiny bit of melted butter (1/2 TBSP), then salt it, it changes it from good to downright excellent!

Artichokes Au Gratin

Quick and Easy Eggs Benedict

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2007
The one and only change I would make is to reduce the amount of salt in the hollandaise sauce to 1/4 tsp. The way the recipe stands now, you can use it providing you don't add any salt to your eggs, but the sauce alone is just a tiny bit too salty. Aside from that, it was absolutely divine! I will make this again - many times!
