Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

wonderful and delicious. I used chocolate pudding, for dark & chocolaty cookies. The kids raved on them. I'm a diabetic and these are a little too sugary for me, but they smelled wonderful and I did eat one :-)

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage

I had no kielbasa, so I put Chorizo in the dish and it tasts wonderful. What a great dish! I never had lentils before, but I wanted to try them. Never found a recipe that truly appealed to me. I used fresh tomatoes. I will definately make this again!

Cream Filled Cupcakes

wonderful, delicious, georgious looking cupcakes! my 11 year old daughter took them to school today for her birthday. I was all anxious to hear the review and guess what? She asked for another batch to take to swim class tonight! so I'll bake some more this afternoon ;)

Mexican Style Shredded Pork

Breakfast Kolaches

Had never tries kolache before. I read about them in a book and I wanted to try them right away so I looked for a recipe and yours came up with many good reviews. I had no sausage, but I had some leftover ham that I used. I topped the potato with scallions. Love those rolls. Will wrap them up and freeze them for work lunches later on. Thank you for sharing!

This eggnog is just the best! I'm from Belgium and eggnog is not known in our country but it is too good not to have it available. And now we can make our own, it's even better.

Belgian Endive au Gratin

Wonderful recipe. If you don't want your sauce to become too runny, cook your endives the day before, so they can drain well. I'm Belgian too and this is one of our favorite Belgian dishes. :-)

Crumpets

I had only had store bought crumpets before, but those were way much drier than these scrumptious crumpets. Thanks for sharing! I'm very happy with this recipe. I read it at 9 PM and I started making them right away. I will post this recipe on the hippoandfriends website in the kids section, for children with diabetes. Thank you very much :-)

Black Magic Cake

Wonderful cake! It was gone in an instant. Filled and glazed it with chocolate butter cream filling. Put 2 passion fruit halves and a strawberry on top and dusted it with powdered sugar. A recipe to share!

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

thanks for sharing. I work in a lunch bar and this is how we cook our bacon to serve on eggs. At home, I put the bacon on paper towels and then microwave it. The grease goes into the paper towels and you end up with crisp bacon. Do not walk away from your microwave, it goes fast!

Scotch Eggs

In Belgium, this recipe is called "Bird's nest". It is served with mashed potatoes and covered in tomato sauce. Very yummie. I bake them completely in the oven, without frying them first. As delicious and less greasy

Wheat Crackers

what a great recipe! I used my pasta machine to roll out the dough as thin as possible. I used an empty tuna can to cut out round crackers and I sprinkled them with coarse sea salt before baking them. And now I have a box with 58 wonderful wheat crackers! Super! Does anyone have a tip on how to keep them fresh?

Microwave Oven Peanut Brittle

What a wonderful recipe! We had never eaten brittle before, so what a surprise. I didn't have light colored syrup, so we used a dark kind. I made half the recipe, just in case we wouldn't like it. But we did! So I ended up making another batch...and another batch...and another batch.... My daughters want to take some to school, but I ran out of peanuts. Guess what they said??? Yes, you guessed it right: we had some other nuts!!! So I have to run and make some more! Thank you for sharing this recipe! a Belgian fan
