Chocolate Scotcheroos

I don't like overly sweet desserts & I really just wanted to use up some old cheerios so I skipped the sugar & just used dark choc chips, it was really yummy, more like a cereal bar this way. I used the fridge to cool & a big sharp knife to cut. I'll make again. super easy too.

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
THANK YOU allrecipes for making this the recipe of the yesterday. I made it last night & it's all gone, so I am making it again today. Beats my old recipe & it really is creamy. Replaced the margarine w/applesauce as suggested by others & I used a mix of different nuts b/c that was all I had. I am throwing my old recipe out!

Tantalizing Turkey and Blue Cheese Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
what a great versatile recipe!!!! I read all the previous reviews & decided to increase the bread crumbs a quarter & decrease the olive oil by half & the black pepper by half. Used pablano peppers instead of jalepeno. I had no problems w/mixing them or w/them sticking to the foil. I used cooking spray. They were not dry & they were full of great flavor. Used them w/red sauce & on their own . . . great any way you serve them. Highly recommend this recipe!!!!!

very easy to make. I don't recommend this unless you love garlic & vinegar. It looks pretty plated w/ steamed asparagus & cherry tomatoes.

I've made this about 5x over this winter, sometimes I use more or less of everything depending on what's on hand & it never disappoints - hearty & yummy all the time.

Make Ahead French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2008
Ignore the negative comments on this recipe & try it! It's exceptionally good in my opinion. There is a lot of batter left over & I'm not sure why, maybe it can make a bigger pan than stated. Anyway, I followed previous suggestions for cutting the sugar in half b/c it was VERY sweet & I used thicker slices of bread to avoid sogginess. TERRIFIC advice! I also used corn syrup & Italian style bread.

Grilled Eggplant, Tomato and Goat Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2007
SENSATIONAL! We used balsamic vinaigrette dressing & mozzarella & provolone instead of goat's cheese. Threw in fresh basil also! It was EASY & didn't fall apart. Looked like a gourmet veggie dish from a fancy restaurant.

Zucchini Bread VI

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
OOPS! Gave this recipe to my mom, suggested she follow the advice of "PERSONA" submitted in 2004, she used the honey, olive oil & less sugar but accidentally used lemon juice instead of lemon extract. It wasn't very lemony but it was, and I sware, the moistest, best zucchini bread I ever had. I intend to make the same mistake.
